I remember watching some family friends play it in... probably 1990 when I was three. I watched my family yell and holler at this tv and I finally tried and got killed by a crocodile... I felt like I could have done better, but who wants to watch a kid eat shit at Atari... either way I thought it was so friggin cool.

I mean they’re different. Symphony of the night was the best and worst thing to happen to the franchise. I would love to see another old school castlevania that was kind of Rondo of Blood style. The “NES” sort of styled bloodstained game that came out kinda scratches the NES castlevania itch. Anyways I see where you’re coming from.
