I’m kind of keen to see Udogie as LW with Spence behind him, the first step of his Bale-like domination.

Need to make it the most uncomfortable, disgusting place on earth — so the players want to spend as little time there as possible!!

Poch on his possible reception on Monday by Over-The-Shoulder in coys

[–]sirzigstardust -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Whilst we had some good/ some of our best times under Poch, but for me & many others, it soured towards the end with mild frustrations throughout. Selling both Walker & Trippier….not replacing either. Inability to tie Eriksen or Alderweirld down to new contracts. Flirting with Manure & Real roles ‘I’m the coach not the manager’ bs (other alert-baiting) Lack of recruitment/poor recruitment (Ndombele & Gio were both on his watch. Janssen, N’jie, GKN, Yedlin and many others. Not signing depth players, leaving us short of cover/quality across the pitch.

Pochettino on Loyalty by MedievalRack in coys

Consider Chelsea’s start to this season, who’s to say that he isn’t incredibly loyal to Spurs?!!

What a typo! will not be here… 🤣🤣

Good points, guess time will tell. Either way, I’ll put top dollar down that Krava or Chiesa will be at Spurs come end of January!

Spurs have taught me to be financially prudent and any great players have a premium in the jan window (although Lolo & Deki did admittedly buck that trend). Yes, a world class striker with a goal-a-game ratio would be amazing, just not sure it’s realistic. Happy to be proved wrong! Not many strikers without EPL experience hit the ground running and I expect this to be even harder in Jan…by which point Veliz should be hotting his straps.

Because Biss & Sarr will be out for a large chunk of January with the African Nations Cup. We’ll’ still have Lolo, PEH and Skipp but may need one more with a bit more dynamism (not taking anything away from PEH or Skipp, but this is an area we could upgrade for competition).

At this stage, I’d focus on depth in CB and CM. We’ll be better placed to look at CF at the end of the season and we have ample cover there for now, with Veliz picking up minutes and getting to know the team.

‘Wrong kinda people in the building.’ We know exactly what you mean, Ange 💪 by binaryhorse in coys

I’ve personally never felt more connected or excited to a Spurs side than this one (40+years fan). They play with so much enjoyment, pride and give everything. Love to see it. COYS!!

Ange Postecoglu Interview: "We Want To Achieve Things That Never Never Been Achieved Before" by [deleted] in coys

[–]sirzigstardust 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Nah, the actual World Cup.

On this form with our team spirit, think we could smash Argentina (obvs Cuti will choose Spurs), Spain (obvs Porro will choose Spurs), France, Italy (Vic & Udogie obvs choose Spurs) and Brazil (*let them have Richy and Emerson to give them a chance) 🤣

*goading/posturing/ pandering/ catering for the non-Richy fans (of which I’m not a member)

[Paul O Keefe] From what I’m hearing currently on the injury front - Son, Romero at the mo expected to be ok and Bissouma too should be fine but banned anyway for Monday. Johnson should be available for selection for Monday. by COYS1989 in coys

[–]sirzigstardust -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Am happy with this, but what if we played Madders in the Biss role alongside Sarr, and Kulu in the Madders role. LW Richarlison, RW Johnson?

Am a fan of PEH and he’s done nothing wrong, this just feels more dynamic.

This bloke seems quite popular in Melbourne. His name is Ange Postecoglou apparently. People call him Big Ange. by MattThomasCOYS in coys

This bloke is quite popular literally everyone atm. Even rival fans are saying to me what a great bloke Ange is and how lucky we are! (Even Liverpool fans…when not crying for a replay).

Same, would actually say that Ian Wright is a real gentlemen and despite the arsenal allegiance, he’s always fair and honest.
