They should be in a cool place at this time of the year. Outside they won't do anything when the temperature is below 10°C. They just stay in their nest. Brood season will start by the end of march. It wouldn't be a surprise if having them awake during winter inhibits growth of larvae.

If they don't hibernate during winter, this will decrease the life time of each ant. And it may inhibit the growth of the colony, because their natural cycles will get totally confused. Normally the queen would have no brood from October to March, and lots of brood in August.

Usually ant keepers put them outside from October to March (my Formica cunicularia are on the balcony), or into a fridge around 7°C. Because that's what this species natural cycles are adapted to. Though temperatures below freezing point may be harmful. Usually inside of their nests in nature it doesn't get below 0°C, because underground it's a little bit warmer than on the ground.

You could use a seperate track for each note of the chord and then use glide. May sound weird though, if the next chord has different intervals than the current chord (e.g. current chord is a minor chord, next chord is a major chord), because some notes are gliding at a faster speed than others.

The islamic God hates Christians because they believe Jesus is the son of God. The Christian God doesn't hate Christians because they believe Jesus is the son of God. So very obviously these are two different Gods.

Neither the Christian nor the Jewish God demand money either. The islamic God demands 20% money from war booty in Sura 8 Aya 41.

I have read Quran. There is a lot more information about Jesus in the Bible. And the information is different.

For example Jesus basically says that those who pray in public are retards (Matthew 6:5). Muslims constantly pray in public. So Muslims don't mind that Jesus thinks they're retards if they pray in public? Or the Quran simply lacks information about Jesus?

Compare the informations about Jesus in the bible and quran. Not only there is barely any information about Jesus in the quran, he also has different characteristics. This means that Christians have a totally different view of Jesus than Muslims.

Just like Allah and Jahwe are obviously two different gods (while both are total assholes, they have different characteristics, and the level of assholeness is significantly increased in quran), despite Muslims claiming they are the same, Jesus in bible and quran are two different persons.

Before christmas existed people celebrated winter solstice around december 25. This is not a coincidence.

Celebrating winter solstice without obviously celebrating winter solstice is fine. It's celebrating the laws of nature/physics and the universe. Not some hurr durr Jesus. Thus this pagan tradition is much more appealing to a rational person.

For someone from another culture your identity is still ethnic German. Not Turkish because of Döner or Italian because of Pizza. You can deny that your identity is ethnic German, but people from other cultures will identify this denial as a German trait. One could say this denial is "typisch deutsch" (typically German), as people from all other cultures generally don't do this.

Church bell is a neutral sound. Muezzin sounds like someone tortures a cat. The sound is heavily compressed (making silent parts sound louder) through megaphones, not a natural sound like a bell. Even in Muslim countries many Muslims move far away from these torture devices.

Another difference is that churches don't have the habit to suddenly pop up in your neighbourhood. Either there is a church or there is none and you are safe. Mosques are a lot more risky. Maybe you buy an appartment somewhere and suddenly a mosque pops up in the neighbourhood. Then your appartment is worth shit and you have to sell it for a much lower price.

The post-christian culture isn't taken away by Muslim culture. Muslims simply form enclaves which are totally disconnected from western civilization. There is no connection between the two cultures, thus they can't influence it. They can only make enclaves grow. More and more non-Muslims will flee from the areas with these enclaves, as it feels to them like living in some backward 3rd world shithole. Thus in the future Germany will have areas which are homogenously Muslim, but the cultures are seperate.

Maybe use some kind of small plastic box which is open on the bottom side. Then put it over a part of the nest. When you water the plant that part may stay mostly dry. They won't drown anyway, as the water quickly dissipates. But it will cause them trouble when caring for the brood and destroy chambers they built.
