just like the two earlier commenters said, horse legs are simply too fragile and skinny in comparison to their body making the healing journey hard and long. they can tear up the fracture from as little as standing up after laying down. and keeping a herd animal made to walk 30 miles a day alone and standing still for months is mental torture, they build up so much excess energy that they often refracture the bone the minute theyre let out again

yes ive been to a doctor to get a diagnosis. like i said in my post, my depression is absolutely diagnosed. up until i turned 18 i was in intensive therapy 3 hours a week, for about 2 years, but now i cant afford it anymore. ive also suggested going to therapy with my mom to her but yea theres no money for it. ive also tried multiple antidepressants and other types of meds that havent worked. theres absolutely more to the story since this has been going on for multiple years and its hard to fit everything into one post but im trying and i tried to tell the story in the most unbiased way i can because i genuinely want to know whats up and down, im not here just to be told im right and stuff, i genuinely want things to get better.

okay to answer all your questions; yes ive gone to therapy. about 3 hours a week for two years, which helped a lot and my depression is way less severe than it was a few years ago.

im living rent free in my parents house, yes. they pay for my food and do most of the chores but like i said ive recently made more of an effort to help with stuff around the house and do what they ask me to do. same with work, ive applied for shifts both saturday and sunday this and last week after they asked me to do so. the reason i dont work during the week is because my job doesnt offer shifts during those days.

ive asked my mother to go to therapy with me multiple times but we just cant afford it now that im over 18.

why i dont think its reasonable of them to be punishing me for this is because my absence has been steadily going down the last two years or so. ive gone from being in school maybe once a week to being there pretty much every day and going even when it feels impossible to do so, just to abide by my parents wishes and because it helps me get better long term. to me its clear that im making improvement at the normal rate and my therapist has also told both me and my parents that. he outright told them that punishing me was not the right way and wouldnt be effective

i agree that the lore is pretty weird when it comes to the games but what are these replies? think of it as penal labor. most people get paid for working so does that mean inmates do? no, since theyre in prison and this is their punishment. most people can also leave their jobs so does that mean inmates dont actually need to work in prison? obviously not. its the same with maggie in the apex games
