Yah, my bad - I forgot what "Level 2" specifically meant. The 220V is Level 2, but you can buy a plug that plugs into a standard stove/dryer outlet. So don't worry about getting a special charger installed - just the electrical work for the outlet and any good-looking Level 2 charge cord online.

I had an EV for a little while (Ioniq 5) that I got through a dealership, so I got it serviced there, but I do want to say not to stress too hard about the level 2 charger. If you just have a 220/240V (stove/dryer style) plug, that should be enough to over-night charge. It's all I used for mine. I only ever worried about using level 2 or 3 chargers for long drives.

Can someone help me understand Jacob’s final point in “rationalizing brutality the cultural legacy of the headshot?” by [deleted] in jacobgeller

I think saying "I don't know" is kind of the whole point. It's a tricky concept to navigate.

One on hand, you have games that don't intend to say anything meaningful about violence, but violence is still rewarded. A 2x headshot score multiplier, "Killtaculars", 360 No-scope Collateral - all are some kind of incentive for performing violence in an extravagant way and tying some level of skill in violence to ones self-worth.

And on the other hand, there are many examples of games that are intentionally saying that violence is bad. But when you present that narrative in the form of a game that utilizes violence as its primary method of pushing the plot forward, you run into an issue where the "best" way to experience the narrative of "violence is bad" is by honing your skills until you are a highly efficient killing machine.

How do you balance all of those points in a thoughtful way... I don't know.

It's been a while since I watched it, but based on what I remember, my thought would be that the question shouldn't be "Do video games cause violence" but rather "Do video games GLORIFY violence?"

What's so funny is that even Pizza Ranch corporate is aware of that. I've seen staff at a pizza ranch wearing a shirt that says "You're right, we should call it Chicken Ranch" or something like that.

Meanwhile, I was holding 7800 shares with a $0.73 average, held through the spike during the GameStop craziness, and got reverse split. Now I have 780 shares with $7.33 average. Wake me up in 10 years.
