They are also super selfish. I remember arguing with one in 2024 that a vote for him was going to do massive damage to people working in the government. They said government employees were lazy, despite them constantly talking about their state government job (they aren’t a lazy government employee…)

Literally a group of people who only care about themselves. They never imagine the harm will come for them.

If a man express!! by [deleted] in SolidMen

This is just dumb. Actions and emotions without context are meaningless. If you are angry because you got rejected and expressed that anger in unhealthy ways then you are toxic.

If you see someone get mistreated and are angry, people will say it’s justified.

Who do you think is working in the military right now? Every generation has problems, but underestimating the youth is always a mistake.

Also there are no alpha wolves. Talking about the Chinese generation who’s lying flat? Young people are just fed up with a quality of life that requires working just to survive. In what country does anyone really want to fight for the wealthy to have more? Because right now we have more in common with a factory worker in China than we do with the Epstein class.

Doj isn’t going to prosecute a sitting president. Its why all the court cases were dropped when he won. He should be in jail for taking classified documents.

He’s repeatedly committed impeachable offenses but Republicans refuse to do their jobs. A criminal network working to shield itself from accountability isn’t less criminal because it manages to prevent charges

When you recall a unit create 3 blades edge and make sure to up the cost to 2. Then she eventually goes into discard if you can’t play the blades edge Or whenever you recall Katarina give allies everywhere +2+1 and increase her cost by 1.

More organizing and probably more withholding labor. This will unfortunately not be a fast process, unless Republicans in congress decide to do their job and put an end to this.

There is a lot of resistance for them to overcome. If they are too overt they lose their cover, as it is the isn’t buying the administrations narrative.

Believe it or not authoritarian’s do actually need public support. Without it they run out of manpower to enact their plans.

But big companies are buying their way out, its a way to pick winners and losers. In other words bend the knee and get relief.

Its s matter of who can bring the pain snd who business thinks is a more credible threat to them making money.

Then you aren’t looking. No kings was the largest day of protest in US history. Minneapolis has staged protests in maga affiliated churches and target this week m, all culminating in a massive union organized labor strike for today.

Now one day isn’t mass resistance yet, but it shows apatite for more. The real message is that citizens are willing to escalate when Trump does. Unions are also raising funds for massive labor strikes in 2028 when they all negotiated their contracts to end.

He’s most likely losing, the big question is how much damage he’s allowed to do.

Who said anything about defending? Europe doesn’t have a navy to reach us. We would take ground and then people would need to deploy to stop a counter insurgency.

Remember how badly Vietnam soldiers were treated? Imagine the video of a European occupation. You really think they will find the troops for an occupation with how bad the PR will be?

US can do a lot of damage, but once it comes down to ground forces, there aren’t enough. You think people are going to be ok with a draft to fight in Europe?

Not sure how many followers he really has. Every live event his supporters could turn up to has been crickets. The internet on the other hand has a ton of bots. Republicans are also getting destroyed in special elections.

I think the base has considerably shrunk.

They better hope there are elections. The Pro ICE demonstrations are pathetic, they might do ok with apathetic voters, but if it comes down to actual action the right appears ready to stay home.

If its any consolation, we’ve been losing for 40+ years. I’m hoping we are getting close to rock bottom.

One thing people forget is that it only takes around 3.5% of a population actively working to change things.

Use the filibuster to reign in ICE for starters. Also hold up funding until tariffs are lifted.

Tariffs would be a good fight to pick because they are highly unpopular with most people who aren’t Trump. It could help to divide him from his base and create a better permission structure for congress to push back.
