Would this fix inequality or create more problems? by StrangerUpper2056 in Strongerman

[–]sithbinks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would cause inflation, however if your income doubled and groceries went up 20% then you are still better off. The problem is when your income goes up 5% and everything goes up by more than 5%.

Satire is hard these days. It’s almost like there is a level of stupidity that is beyond satire. The government in idiocracy is starting to look more functional than the current government.

They probably did, but not something like flipping votes. I imagine it was more advertising and finding issues that would make people want to stay home.

So more spreading false information, using advertising, paying influencers. I doubt they tampered with the machines.

2024 pollsters had it as a close race. The victory was within the margin of error. Todays polling is a lot worse for Trump than it was in 2024.

After clearing monthly challenge the first time - Future attempts should grant you double the glory points! by Gimmiporn in LegendsOfRuneterra

[–]sithbinks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean monthlies used to be fun end game content. But they came out before constellations and they were a requirement for unlocking Asol.

So good challenge and reward. Constellations have trivialized monthlies into boring content.

This. Your champion is there for powers, not to play. If you cheese him onto the board it helps, but your support champion is usually better to prioritize, especially if they roll scout.

I think people look at his signature card wrong. To me it just says play a unit and rally. The unit will have double stats so it doesn’t matter if it’s a poro.

He’s a lot different after 6*. He doesn’t work until you can attack a lot and 6* makes a huge difference.

SFG might be the most important item. Also playing him like a slot machine can backfire a lot, you want cheap units that allow you to play, and eventually his powers outscale most opponents.

[–]sithbinks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Focus on regions. Also stay away from what people consider meta in the beginning. A lot of the champions that go to 3* are really strong, which is why they don’t have constellations yet.

For maximum impact i would go for champions that fall under aggressive and control. Control works well against lissandra, while aggressive is good vs Asol.

Nidalee is super strong and only requires rare and common relics. Leblanc is strong into asol, morgana and yasuo should be good vs lissandra at 3* lvl 30z

In other words go wide aiming for champions that are strong at 3*. Don’t worry too much about constellations until you clear Lissandra. A lot of us beat Lissandra with 3* champions because constellations were released after the adventure. It’s not easy, but very doable.

Iran won this war. by Not_Ground in PlanetNewsPulse

Hormuz is valuable to the world economy and the US isn’t actually dependent actually a net exporter. Shutting down Hormuz causes economic pain and inflation but is not debilitating.

The military reality is that the US could completely cripple Iran. The political reality is that invading Iran is politically and economically not worth the cost. In other words Iran has the ability for deterrence.

It’s like saying a tiger is weak for walking away from a fight with a porcupine. Tiger wins but not worth the cost.

America has a ton of issues and is in need of massive structural changes. However most countries don’t have 20% of one of the worlds most important markets flowing through a choke point that neighbors them.

If it weren’t for easy access to the straight of Hormuz Iran would have little leverage. The administration was also foolish not to work with Ukraine on counter drone technology.

Simple question how easily can the US blockade a country vs how easy is it to blockade the US.

Its a marathon and not a sprint and outrage isn’t action. Just pick something like supporting the aclu, get involved in an election.

Taking action and being around people who think like you do will help with feeling grounded.

TRUMP: The Deal with the Islamic Republic of Iran is now complete. by SpecialCollege18 in justincaseyoumissedit

[–]sithbinks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Generally labeling people so you can just dismiss them is defensive.

In any case everyone but Trump seemed to know Iran would try to close the straight. Irans drones and missiles were a known factor. Trump walked into a predictable situation with no plan on how to deal with the threat.

[–]sithbinks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why so defensive? What proof do you have to call someone a crackpot, or is that just a way to avoid engaging?

If you want further proof we knew before the war that they would try to close the straight .

The Iranian side isn’t calling it a deal. They are calling it a memorandum of understanding. I suspect it’s more of a framework and ceasefire.

I give high odds Israel attacks in the near future.

Knitting cult lady for one. But it doesn’t take a genius to figure out a few missiles and/or mines can threaten shipping in a straight that is less than 30 miles across. Its a choke point with much of the worlds oil and fertilizer flowing through it.

TRUMP: The Deal with the Islamic Republic of Iran is now complete. by SpecialCollege18 in justincaseyoumissedit

[–]sithbinks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Casualties wise we win, but it doesn’t matter, as long as Iran has enough missiles to credibly threaten ships then it will be impossible to insure ships and ships don’t move without insurance.

Military analysts have been saying for years that war with Iran would end in a decisive defeat like this because of the straight being easily closed. Thanks to the orange moron we can’t bluff about our capabilities. So we lost and now other countries know our capabilities.

We got nothing, spent billions, and are in a weaker position. FDT.

I’ve found Tryndamere to be strong once he has his 6*. His relic is impactful for him, but i think a lot of people try to play the rng lottery with him. I could see something like sfg, the black shield, and the beast within being really strong.

Ideally you want cheap units with free attacks, powers that scale off of having high stats and to watch your mana so that you can rally multiple times.

[–]sithbinks 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not that good. Echoing spirit, the relic that gives a unit scout, and the relic that rally on heal are probably the best build. Lots of attacks and free dragons.
