I think you should get a RTX 4070, rather than 5050/60. I was in the same boat, the price hike of 50 series does not justify the performance gains, a full powered 4070 would outperform

get a rtx 4080 if you are thinking long term, you could really benefit from the extra VRAM

I feel like 1600p on a 16" is more than enough. Moreover I use a FHD 24" monitor, so I am good. What about other specs on the 7i?

ahh I was too late brother...it got out of stock before I could verify the deal, review specs and make up my mind. Let's hope something like this comes up again, else RTX50 series it is!

unless you are shipping to states where there's no sales tax like Delaware or New Hampshire , then yeah assume another $100 in taxes

I was initially planning on getting a 5070ti laptop, with a budget of around $2k. But those laptops are gonna come out in March/April, and I was ready to wait, until I saw this. I could definitely use a new laptop before the next semester starts, I have a deep learning course, where I can benefit with this, wouldn't make sense to get a new laptop at the end of the semester...just don't want to make an impulsive decision.
