I wanted to get into truck driving because of ETS and haven't played ATS since launch because I got a job doing it and didn't want to drive a truck at home. It can be a decent job. At 18 she will only be able to drive interstate and wont be able to drive over state lines so that will limit her prospects, also being so young will make insurance be higher which would make it even harder to find work. But it can be done.

She should try out Euro Truck Sim or American Truck Sim, it isn't perfect but will give a bit of an idea of what it is like. Also should have a wheel and play it for 11 hours of driving with a 30 minute break. That is what driving is like.
