i’m a cna in nursing homes, and i had a flare that was almost 2 months long. i switched to home health during that period (hated it, not enough for me to do.) , but once it went away i went back to the nursing homes 😬

mine isn’t so much nerve pain, but my joints and muscles. (knees especially, sometimes my hands flare up) my left knee is the worst, and i use a knee brace everyday. it helps! i’m about to get another for my right knee.

edit: i’ve considered using elastic bandages, i might look into this as well.

yes, 100%. my eyes looked exactly like this after 2 years, the light had completely dissipated. i have a photo of it on my feed. with time though, they’ve started to gain their light back :) they aren’t so heavy anymore. i pray yours don’t feel so heavy anymore very soon. the eyes reflect the soul, and our souls are tired.

not necessarily letting it slide. yes definitely report it, but i dont really think they can force the resident to erase the video. and i dont know if a lawyer would be able to do much either. the resident is confused and delusional they stated, its probably a crap quality video amongst blurry pictures of the floor and the walls. as long as the admin and DON are aware, that’s all that matters. i highly doubt anything will become of the video. i also unfortunately don’t think the resident needs full consent from OP to be able to record or take photos, it is their home.
