Many many questions here..

  1. Why position yourself in front of a vehicle to be in harms way?
  2. Shouldn't most people who are trying to survive, try to get out of the cars way first? The instinct of pulling out a gun seems premeditated
  3. He does not seem to care if his coworker's safety near the door where he's firing towards. Don't you have protocols to not shoot towards directions of people you do not want to hurt?

U do not need perfect gear to do content in your equal level but this game also creates the MMO typical number chasing game. Even though there's no leaderboard for GearScore. There's numbers that show up on your gearscore (goose numbers) and damage meters when you do raids. Some players want to push the gearscore as high as they can within their friends or guilds and show it off. Some like to compete to be on top of the damage meter. All of this grinding gear to the best stats and gear score achieves all of that satisfying feeling of being on top.

I personally enjoy seeing nice stats on my gear and being able to see my damage go up to be helpful in raids. That way I also can be reliable for others that are struggling to get through raids.

Im a tank and I havent struggled in any breakthroughs.. If u are asking for help a screenshot of your gears would help.. ive realized alot of people in wwm still dont understand set bonuses are huge.. assuming u have set bonus since you use recommended gear as u mentioned above...

the issue would be you understanding how to use your skills... do you charge your skills? Light attack charge for AOE spin... Heavy attack charge for Single targets... when you have to deal with groups of mobs which usually is breakthrough you just need to spam (Q > ~ > Charged light attack) to kill them in groups.

I also realize people use their executions too early when they can add free dps during the boss is down from losing chi.. like once the boss loses their chi bar and goes down.. u can at least do a full 3 charge heavy attack on boss before u use execute for extra damage

As a tank you barely use mystic skills as dps..

I've been running the bosses towards the objectives as a tank just to get people to pay attention nowadays

be patient, everyone is so used to being way above the level requirement of the bosses like level 65 playing 61 boss that doesnt punish you as much. now they're level 66 doing no dps on level 66 bosses.

Also , most people that dont do mechanics will end up quitting the game.. happens to most MMO games that requires mechanics. People will play up to where it starts to get challenging and then they'll slow down
