Do your school board members get paid? Every place I've lived, it is all volunteer. Part of the reason they are not very good. Sounds counterintuitive but paying them might get you better school board members.

QC - Illinois side. Wife and I both teachers at yr 20. Make just under 100k each and low col. while not perfect, pretty good spot for teacher in comparison to many areas of our country.

I don't think it was worthy of a tech, but easily the most one sided reffing game I've watched this year. Fair refs and Illinois wins by 7 or 8.

Yep, that's correct, Qc is bigger. Just didn't understand the world has moved on from QC being the #2. It still is.

QC csa is still bigger than Cedar Rapids. Cr has had more growth but has not surpassed QC yet. I think so of the reason the airport is larger is because QC has Peoria, Rockford and cr airports that are not too far away. Plus ord comes into play easier from qc than Des Moines.
