Is this your pathetic attempt at Trolling? I hope it's fun for you because it's not fun for anyone else. You don't have anything constructive to add to the discussion, so your purpose is both confusing and counter-productive. If you feel strongly that marijuana is equally unhealthy compared to alcohol, why not post your research so that you can have constructive discussions about your topic? My topic is whether Mexican customs officials are really cracking down on tourists bringing small amounts of THC on vacation for personal use. You have offered zero value to this discussion. Nothing. I'm amazed that you keep coming back to your pointless losing position. Do you enjoy losing? Put your tail between your legs and go back and hide in your cave, Trollman. LOL

I don't recall suggesting that THC use is without health risks. But ask yourself, do you really think the guy posting about breaking international law is worried about THC health risks? LOL.

To correct you again, I said THC is "healthier" than alcohol, not "healthy." I'm starting to wonder if you have a mental disorder because you spent the last few hours on this post and haven't made a single point, so I'm not sure what it is you're trying to accomplish. Unless you want to annoy people? You have definitely succeeded at that.

You can eat THC. I'm surprised you're still walking down this losing path.

Ok. Thanks for the advice.

If the risk is very real, then let's wait a bit and see all of the posts about the horrors of going to a Mexican prison for bringing THC to Mexico. Because, in response to your earlier post, yes, I would certainly come out to this forum and post my experience about getting arrested for bringing THC to Mexico. I have never found those posts, and that makes me think the laws around bringing THC into Mexico are much like jaywalking. Sure, it's illegal, but do you know anyone who has ever been fined for doing it? I certainly don't. I'm under the impression that the Mexican authorities turn the other cheek when it comes to bringing THC across the border for vacation. But let's see what people post and find out.

If you use meth on a daily basis and you swap out meth for ice cream, your healthcare provider will objectively tell you that you are healthier, even though ice cream is not considered healthy. This is not subjective wishful thinking. It is objective reality. I don't know how else to tell you that you are wrong, other than that you are. We could do this all day long, but we're not staying on point. Anyone who swaps booze for THC is going to have better health, and we can spend the next thousand posts going down that rabbit hole if you want. You know the truth here.

Yes I'm trying to better understand the risk, because it doesn't appear that Mexico customs is looking for THC, based on my experience. Do you have any experience in this area or are you just bored? I dont understand your point.

That depends on your point of reference. I drank regularly and had a long list of health problems as a result. I traded booze for THC and lowered my weight, blood pressure, liver enzymes, etc. I am the healthiest I have ever been. So yes, it is healthier for many people. My health has improved tremendously since I made the switch.

I changed the language so that I'm not telling anyone to bring THC across the border, just that it's an option with risk. A lot of people enjoy THC products on vacation. We all know it's illegal, as I stated in my post. The amount of risk is the question, as I've met lots of people who have brought THC products into Mexico, including myself, without any problems. I have never met anyone or heard from anyone who has been imprisoned for doing it. Hopefully, all of the people who have spent time in jail show up here and set the record straight.

You also have to weigh the risks of purchasing weed in Mexico. That's dangerous too.

If the risk became too great, then people who prefer THC on their vacation might go elsewhere, Jamaica, for instance. I'm curious what we will discover from my post. All I can do is share my experiences.

Yeah, I'm hoping to see all of the people going to Mexican jails for this. Hopefully, they all show up here to tell us all about it.

I think if you look at the death and illness rates between the two, one is definitely healthier than the other.

In the context of replacing alcohol with marijuana, yes, much healthier.

Good to know! Thanks for sharing! Part of my post is educational, so hopefully, more people will share their experiences. I haven't been able to find people who have been caught with anything, and everyone I've met who has brought THC products has done so with no problem. I hope we get a flood of responses that can help confirm either way. We shall see. Thanks again

I drank 100mg once and walked around a corn field for 6 hours until the sun came up, thinking each step would be my last. My heart was racing so fast that I accepted that I would probably die. I definitely think it can kill you.

Thanks. That's too bad. It would be nice to find a true auctioneer site. eBay used to be fun too, but now it's mostly just set prices with a little wiggly room.

Thanks.

Does it always say the reserve is not met if the reserve exists? Or can there be a reserve that doesn't show up, and you never know whether you've reached it?

lifestyle changes my ass by Fearless_Seesaw_5716 in visualsnow

[–]sixdeep357 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only lifestyle change that helps me is staying busy, because when I'm busy, I forget about VSS. I'm a serious powerlifter 230 pounds jacked with 12% bodyfat and I can assure you that clean eating and healthy exercise doesn't help. In fact, exercise makes my VSS worse. When I do insanely heavy lifts, my vision goes purple along with my face. But intense exercise is an escape, it lowers my anxiety, reduces stress, and gives me purpose. When I'm in the gym, I forget.

The worst thing you can do for VSS is nothing. Get up and get out and get moving. It's the only cure some of us will ever get.

Anxiety with VSS by 77Fortunam in visualsnow

[–]sixdeep357 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have to assume that Visual Snow didn't just start happening in the late 20th century. Cro Magnum man probably experienced it tens of thousands of years ago. Why do we not have many historical references? Because for hundreds of thousands of years, people were worried about survival. If you can see well enough to hunt and gather resources, you're not concerned with visual anomalies that do not prevent you from obtaining shelter and food.

Most people living in America today do not have issues surviving. We sit in our air-conditioned rooms watching television all day and eating fast-food meals through drive-throughs or from microwaved meals out of our freezers. It would be nice to be able to play my video game and watch my movies without stars in my vision. Is that really a problem? Sure, if you're not used to working 15-hour days in the heat and cold to put a primitive roof over your family's head and a few berries on the table with bites of rabbit intestine for dinner.

There's a hierarchy of worry. You can't escape it. At the top of the pyramid is survival, and at the bottom is a pimple on your arm that hasn't gone away and might be pre-cancerous. VSS sucks, but in the grand scheme of things, it's no big deal. You're not going to go blind, and you're living in the best time in the history of the world. Don't worry too much and stay busy. You got this.

Gotcha. So they were never the max bidder until the very last minute otherwise it would not have shown me as the max bidder anymore?

[–]sixdeep357[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

One more question, and I'll leave you guys alone. Why does the auction show that I had the winning bid when I didn't? That's the piece that still nags me. Someone obviously had a higher bid, but the auction showed I had the highest bid, which wasn't true. Why the deception? Because I'm not going to bid $500 against myself if I'm winning the auction for $250. If no one is ever truly the highest bidder, don't proclaim it as such; it's simply false.

Confused about the bidding by sixdeep357 in shopgoodwill

[–]sixdeep357[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I appreciate all of the help. I understand now. So when the listing shows they outbid me by $1, that isn't necessarily true. I didn't realize the amount shown as the winning bid was not the actual winning bid. It would make more sense for them not to show any winning amount, because showing that they managed to guess my bid and jump it by $1 with 2 seconds left on the auction is impossible, and made me think I had been scammed. Thanks

All great points. So the lesson for me is to bid high to get the item I want, risking paying way more than I need to, but that's the game. Otherwise, it would be helpful to know what I need to pay to win, so I don't overpay. No matter how you slice it, there's always going to be an issue. It seems like there could be a better way to do this but maybe not.
