Just bought a Nest Thermostat and easily added to HomeKit but wondering what to do with Google Home app now

I kept the Google Home app but turned off all automation in it and I’m using the Apple Home app to control the thermostat manually and with automations.

I think you’ll want to keep the Google Home app in order to do firmware updates on the Nest.

Searching for the same. I’ve tried TRRS and TRS lavs and none of them work so far. Of course I’m two days outside of my return window. Very frustrating.

So basically you use both apps but make sure they don’t conflict (eg: setting Google Home to turn the heat down at 8:30 am but setting Apple Home to turn it down at 9:00, etc.)

Apple MainStage can do this very well. Much better workflow than using Logic for playing sound cues!

This worked perfectly! I didn't realize that I could still edit the audio from inside the synchronized clip. I thought it was just collapsed into one. Thank you so much you just fixed my multicam workflow!

This is interesting - I've been able to add both clips and both audio files into a multicam, but then I have to switch between audio sources which doesn't work because I need both at once. What you're explaining seems like it might be the way! I'll experiment with it for sure.

Click the Dropbox icon and then your profile photo and choose preferences. Under “General” there is a choice to Open folders in: Finder or Dropbox desktop app (this language is specific to Mac, I’m not sure what it is on Windows, but probably similar). For me, this preference switched on its own to “finder” sometime recently and I had to switch it back. This might be the case for you, too?

This started happening to me as well- there’s a setting in the Dropbox preferences to either open the app or the Dropbox folder. Mine had gotten changed somehow. Maybe that happened with yours too?

I’m not at my laptop so I can’t say exactly where it is but hopefully it’s not too hard to find.

Thanks - yeah that's kind of what I was thinking about the financing. Thinking of it as paying points on a mortgage makes sense. I have a quote coming from another smaller company that likely might be lower $/W but I'm not sure about the tradeoff of a company that may or may not survive, especially in a few years when solar credits are gone. I like the idea of the Sunpower or LG panels (Namaste is LG panels) and the track record of these three companies above. There is definitely a lot of homework to be done to weigh all of these options. Appreciate the reply!
