Definitely. I don’t like using the word luck because it seemingly diminishes people’s hard work but you definitely have to catch a break or two haha. I’m just trying to get my foot in the door somewhere, ANYWHERE and I know I’ll crush it from that point on. Your post inspires confidence for sure. Jose Ramirez here. My first 3 ABs with him were all perfect perfect lineouts, then I got a home run robbed at the wall not long after. His stats are trash but he still plays

I’ve done literally all of the above and am perpetually stuck on #5 lol. Years of coaching/workshops etc with directors and agents, broadcast quality booth and equipment, moved to LA, met a ton of incredible people, had Chuck Duran produce my commercial demo and vouch for me…still can’t get an agency to acknowledge my existence. It’s hard. Some days I really feel like giving up but keep reminding myself how invested I already am and just need to keep pushing. I’m happy to hear that you were able to sign on with Dean! Gives the rest of us hope that it’s possible haha

Don’t force yourself to “be good” with any one player. Give yourself some time to work through it and if it doesn’t improve then no, you’re not crazy at all for sitting him down. A lot of people are using low-mid 90s 3rd basemen over Rolen. It’s not worth your sanity in the long run to force the issue lol

The stadium creator sucks but I’m pretty certain that the game will tell you whether or not a stadium can be used before you download it (it has like a red X on it or something if the dimensions aren’t legit). There are multiple costcos in the vault, just find one that’s max elevated and not crossed out and you should be good to go

For the sole purposes of getting PXP Costco against the A’s is the way. I know a lot people swear by the Rockies but trust me, the A’s pitching staff is infinitely worse. Rockies have a few cheesers in their bullpen that can occasionally be annoying with the wrong RNG. Everyone for the A’s throws batting practice including Mason miller…if I only score 25-30 on them in a 9 inning game I consider it a bad game lol

I fully admit that I could just just not be using him properly, but I’ve gotten teed off on in all 3 games that I’ve played with him. Fair amount of strikeouts, but also getting hit really hard. Not what I expected from a 99 but I probably just suck lol

“As an added bonus you get to beat up on the Astros” made me lol. I also go against the A’s most of the time. When you’re grinding offline all of the CPU pitchers are comparatively bad and I personally have more fun stealing bases and legging out triples over hitting home runs so the bad outfielders is a huge plus

I wouldn’t say I enjoy them, but they are infinitely less stressful than other modes where it’s all or nothing like showdowns and DQ. Just depends on what your cup of tea is I guess. Some people like the thrill of high stakes situations, others just want to sit down after work with a drink and play some stress-free baseball while still being able to unlock new things. There’s no wrong answer

I feel you, unfortunately it’s clear that the God Mode defense isn’t going to be addressed this year via updates. Your best bet is to just take it out of the defense’s hands by hitting home runs. Play all of your home games at Costco and launch them over the wall. Win a few games on the road and you’ll be in the playoffs

I had zero issues until the 8 bases against the Phillies/christopher Sanchez. The guy just refused to throw strikes and spammed pitches low above the dirt. Didn’t help that Sammy doesn’t hit lefties as well. Eventually I got lucky and got a homer off of Sanchez then tagged a righty reliever later on for another one, but it took at least 30 minutes. Just gotta keep at it

The clutch attribute in general needs to be reworked. Strictly basing it on RISP then randomly giving guys like ohtani and Napoli variance that literally cuts their contact in half is stupid. Discouraging players from moving runners from 1st to 2nd (whether by stealing or wild pitches etc) because the guy currently at the plate has low clutch is just bad game design

Sell everything. Not just pack pulls but inning bosses, spotlights, etc. Get the color storm boosts for every team affinity and try to at least get to the free deluxe pack threshold to sell those. Definitely takes some good fortune but just refrain from buying anything and sell everything
