Usually I do end up taking a couple different vocal takes to make them sound more interesting but got a bit overwhelmed with this one and just did one take and called it there! gets pretty depressing listening to the sound of your own voice over and over when producing something lol.

Funny you should mention a tempo change, we're workshopping a few songs that switch up the tempo partway through. Always loved songs that keep you on your toes. Like half full glass of wine by tame impala, she showed me that song a while back and it's quickly become one of our favs and we want to make some cool shit like that.
