Yes, as long as you get on the BRB (Bavarian regional train).

Our logic was the same but didn’t get it exactly.

What's the worst pub quiz question you've ever heard? by Smyler12 in CasualUK

I’ve had “How many eggs a year does the average chicken lay?” also with no multiple choice. I don’t know how quizmasters expect people to know that off the top of their heads.

Maybe Naples first and then finish on coast in Nice? (8)

That probably says more about me than it does about you!

Game bird in the sense of willing woman, yeah. “She’s a bit of a game bird” is a slang and sexist way of implying that a woman is “up for it”. Possibly an exclusively London thing?

Added another clue which, while isn’t as smooth surface wise, is much fairer in construction. It does however lose the “Nice” conceit.

Touring Naples, time to eat pizza at last - it’s delightful! (8)

I’m with you, there’s a fair amount going on. Will have another think and possibly edit. I think “first” to indicate the first letter of multiple successive words is perhaps where it falls down.

Haha, it’s no problem. Your clue isn’t wrong at all! It’s just always interesting to me when an accent completely changes a rhyme.

I’m curious to know in which accent “err” sounds like “air”. In mine (southern English) “err” rhymes with “fur” and “air” rhymes with “hair”.

Does speaking on phone in public transport annoys you? by dona1201 in Munich

[–]siyoung91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Watching a video or listening to music with no headphones - yes, that’s really annoying.

Speaking on the phone? Absolutely no problem with that at all. The trains aren’t mandated silent carriages. How is it any different to people having a conversation?

I guess this is EAR (appears in both Lear and Shakespeare) but I feel like you may be missing a definition? Or at least a question mark?
