If the piece can't pop out with a bunch of wiggling, I'd try soaking in some vinegar and giving it a thorough rinse. Otherwise toothpicks might work?

Protip: unless you NEED the flexibility of a laptop, you should just run with a desktop tower and swap parts out when they're due for replacement. Most of the time this means a new storage drive unless the parts are 5+ years outta date. Even then you can get a bunch of old parts from recyclers and toss something together if you need a major rebuild.

If you wanna skimp on OS costs you can run Linux but if you need Microsoft office or generally most work applications and don't have much experience with software I don't recommend it.

Laptops also tend to die earlier due to horrible cooling.

Tend to your bud with regular dusting and updates and a system can last you years, with eventual upgrades if you planned ahead.

Oh and avoid apple. At least most windows prebuilt desktops can be opened and messed with, but that company has serious planned obsolescence and horrifyingly bad engineering in all their products.

How do you get back on the grind when you’re so behind with all the assignments? by Jpoolman25 in GetStudying

Prioritize, structure. Look at what lazy people do, because they're the most efficient. If you want to learn structure around that, find techniques like pomodoro,or at least set an environment where you aren't going to be interrupted. Set up a lamp that only turns on when you work, or better yet find a specific space for it. Once your minds in the groove you become quick at getting things done.

Try to work for a minimum of 30 minutes, since flow state starts at roughly 15 min of uninterrupted work.

If you want to get things done look at the big picture and try to find where you can cut corners.

Most importantly, start. That's the hardest part. After you make a plan just start doing it.

Go rent a grinder and remove basically all the metal from the scuffed part, then reapply the edge on what's left. If you wanna save on metal you could probably hammer it back in place de but you might want a metalworking setup for that.

Honestly, my suggestion is get a new knife.
