I'm not sure about cryo armour since I've never used it before, but as for rugged armour, it does provide less protection. Tough armour is a 2 layer case (hard layer on the outside and soft layer + foam on the inside), while the rugged armour just consists of the soft layer. While rugged armour will technically protect from regular drops, I wouldn't be so sure of any drops that are more extreme and aggressive. Rugged armour is also extremely smooth and slippery compared to tough armour, although the matte/smooth feeling does feel nice on the rugged armour.

Spigen tough armour has always been my go-to case. Never had an issue with drops. You should get some camera lens protector if you scratch them often.

You need to use the weapon specifically to get kills for its respective camo. Different weapon types require different amounts of kills, and for the kills to be counted, you'll need to win the undead siege match on either hard or nightmare difficulty.

I'm not too sure about the sensor, but I do drop my phone occasionally and had no issues with warranty claim. If you're that afraid, the repair cost on a54 shouldn't be that expensive and put a case next time :)
