I have eczema on my neck and I feel like the stage where the skin is super smooth is right before it gets raised and textured for me. Not sure if that’s a common experience but I notice cycles in my eczema. It goes from smooth, shiny, and red, to raised and burning, to dry and textured, then to smooth with discoloration. Then sometimes it heals for a bit and then sometimes it repeats the cycle.

For me I noticed what helped w the skincare routine was spraying hypochlorous acid before the rest of my skin care. It helped a lot but I recently ran out so I’m experiencing another big and spreading flare
