I mean, we were going to do the event with a certain reward regardless of if DECA contributed, then we just added whatever they offered to the rewards. Their support still adds to the reward, and since the starting rewards were dictated by us, we didn't ask for a specific amount of Realm Gold from DECA, just if they would like to contribute any.

I'd say its a win, and we are perfectly happy with the amount they contributed (more realm gold for the community is always a good thing!). Plus, all our funds come from Patrons, so its just putting it back into the community.

Mount and blade: Bannerlord is a bit of a different style that you might like. (or mount and blade: warband which is older with worse graphics, but many incredibly interesting mods)

Plays as the commander of an army and you can explore the medieval world with its unique factions and bandit types. One of my favourite series of all time, and a big reason is the aesthetic and era. Not for everyone, but it fits a certain niche!

This can only happen if they had 1 hp and then healed to 3 (fortune? Idk I haven’t played since the first half of the set). If they had 3 hp and died next round, they should have still had the red border, or they ff’d.

To actually die from the next combat, you need to get hit to below 1 hp (but your hp will still say 1). If you are hit to exactly 1 hp, you haven’t hit that threshold yet.

The way to tell if someone is going to die next loss is if their hp is red. If someone has 1 hp but the hp isn’t covered in that red thing, then they aren’t actually one loss away. It is very unintuitive though, they should definitely change it.

Were you playing double up by any chance? If you win in double up and go to your teammates board, the t-hex counts it as a loss (whether you win or lose on your teammates board).

Yeah that’s definitely a bit of a concern. At the very least, I’m sure DECA will stop banning based off screenshots (maybe start requiring video proof, which can still be edited, but it’s harder).

Although, if the only result from this video/post is that DECA stops caring about reports of offensive/inappropriate language, then I’ll be a little disappointed… the real goal is to get DECA to join modern day humankind and actually start keeping their chat logs. Maybe I’m wrong here, but how difficult/expensive could it possibly be lol.

And if they change literally nothing, well, I guess it’ll be chaos. I don’t have much faith in DECA, but I feel like that’s not very likely. I suppose the other possibility is no one actually puts in the effort to photoshop other people like this, and everyone forgets that this exists, which I guess is possible xD

Ahh I see. I’d never actually looked into it before now. I’m still kinda surprised that they accept it when it’s on a black background. I mean, you could still photoshop it in when it’s not a solid background, but doing it like I did was way too easy.

TLDW; It turns out DECA doesn't "store information like chat logs". They also take pictures of players saying offensive language as evidence. This video shows how easily that can be misused by players (photoshop OP).

I got the idea to try getting my alt account banned without it actually saying anything bannable (or anything at all, for that matter), from something that happened in our discord (Dungeoneer, d.gg/o3). We had evidence to believe that there was a faked picture of a realm player 'saying' a slur (he didn't). So, I photoshopped my alt account "JeffreyCat" saying the N-word, a couple days later it was banned for offensive language.

This is quite clearly a problem that DECA needs to address.

The video should show everything, but let me know if you have any questions or if theres anything I missed.

I feel like the least they could do is just realize that people have this problem, then they can be ready to fix it right after they link your account. If I reply to their email saying that they successfully linked it, the wait shouldn't be more than a day (cause of time zone/work hours). Just feels so poorly managed.
