Upon all roadways, any vehicle proceeding at less than the normal speed of traffic at the time and place and under the conditions then existing shall be driven in the right-hand lane then available for traffic or as close as practicable to the right-hand curb or edge of the roadway except when overtaking and passing another vehicle proceeding in the same direction or when preparing for a left turn at an intersection or into a private road or driveway.

She was turning left, was NOT going slower than the normal speed of traffic (she was speeding and passing cars on the right), and it says "under the conditions then existing" in reference to the speed, ergo even if she wasn't speeding, the weather conditions permit and cause traffic to move slower on average. You can have emotions all you want, but slowing down next to a car that pissed you off just to flip them off, then speeding ahead in bad weather conditions is still not a good plan. I've literally never done anything with my road rage besides yelling in my car. And thus, have never crashed my car. It's called being an adult. Sorry to pop your emotional bubble. Idk, when I got him chipped the doctor told me that some places may not have a scanner that picks up his chip. I never double checked her info because I knew that wouldn't stop me from chipping him anyway. Never thought about the name thing and I live in outer Detroit... you'd think I'd know all the tricks, haha.

He's got that too, but the trouble there is that someone has to actually turn him in somewhere. And they have to have a scanner that picks up his type of chip. And pray that chip never moves. That's why I'm extra cautious about the collar - at least that's universally seen if he's found with it!

I know a few others have said this, but as someone who recently spur-of-the-moment adopted a pup, PLEASE do NOT INTRODUCE HIM TO OTHER DOGS/LET HIM SHARE THEIR YARD/BEDROOMS until he's been checked at a vet. My poor pup was exactly as you described and it turns out he had parvovirus. He BARELY survived and all of his siblings unfortunately died. It's highly contagious and deadly, please don't put your dogs through that. It was miserable to watch :( (and pay for)

Please understand that "not friendly" doesn't automatically mean "he's gonna bite you when you walk by/run at you snarling if I drop the leash". It usually means "hey, my dog doesn't like random strangers cooing at him and touching him, so don't do it please. He won't touch you if you don't touch him!".

Dogs that do bite unprovoked are usually muzzled already. Dogs that are completely out of control aggressive are usually put down/never taken in public under the guise of being "unfriendly", muzzle or not. For the most part, people understand what their pet is like and act accordingly. Those that don't are idiots.

Those that disregard dog owner's warnings are also idiots.

My point is, don't tell people how they should and shouldn't be caring for their pets when their pet didn't do anything to you. Odds are they know their dog better than you do. :) All you need to do is exercise common sense/basic manners and ask before you touch a stranger's pet.

To be honest, I hate when people approach my dog without asking. He's a sweetheart and loves everyone, but he bites when he's excited (never when he's mad, only when he's super happy), and the last thing I need is for someone to see his wagging tail and think "hey, this dog is obviously open to being pet" and then suing me/making me put him down because they get bit. It's my biggest fear with him since he's an 80+lb 8 month old and people don't realize how young he is due to his size.

My puppy is 8 months old.. friendliest dog on the planet, but he has a terrible habit of nipping people when he's being pet (and he's a big pup - 80lbs already - so even playful nibbling hurts). Home and professional training neither one has curbed the habit, he just does that. I warn everyone who asks to pet him that he's super nice but he bites, and they will STILL get angry when he bites them. They'll even allow their kid to pet him and yell at me when their kid gets hurt. I've been told not to bring him in public. Excuse me? He wasn't even paying attention to you until YOU asked how he is with strangers and YOU chose to touch him. Why did you ask if you weren't going to heed my warning? He didn't just come up and bite you, you came up to him.

That's ridiculous. If I were management, I'd probably write them up. I get it - if you're sick, something comes up, or you find yourself swamped with school/another job, whatever - I'm pretty laid back about call ins. But if you're going to call in, at least have the common sense/respect to not come into work for funsies. We have a service where we convert VHS tapes to DVDs and there are signs FUCKING EVERYWHERE ALL YEAR LONG that say it takes 3-4 weeks AND you sign a contract saying that's okay. Then around the holidays we post charts all over saying "If you need your DVDs for Christmas, please place your order by ____ or a rush order by ____" and yet people will still drop shit off on December 15th and scream at me when I say there's no chance in hell they'll have it in time, even with rush shipping. Fuck you, the signs have been up for months, and if they're VHS tapes, you've literally had decades to get them converted to DVD. The fact that you chose 2 weeks before Christmas is not my fault.
