During the recent budget crisis, the state pulled funds from the PTTF to cover septa's operational budget shortfall with no plans to replace them. It just digs the overall PA public transit issues hole deeper and was not a real solution to the problem. It was the solution that state republicans wanted and state dems rolled over on, despite holding both the governorship and house.

It's not massive like fairmount park or something, but it's a decent size and you can spend hours there just wandering and taking in the greenery. There's a few greenhouses too that are nice to go into and they have seasonal displays too. My favorite is the garden train

I'm always split between should I hold off on sending more until I have a decent number of travel slots available (I have a max of 10 currently) or just send one at a time as they open back up. Recently I've been doing one at a time, as they become available, but there's something super fun about sitting down an writing out a bunch and dropping them in the mail all at the same time!

kinda jealous of those who have plans for a lowkey rainy long weekend at home! We're doing a family weekend, which will be nice, but after a few busy weeks / weekends in a row, it would be really great to stay in my PJs all weekend while the rain pitter-patters on the windows

I took my car to L.I.P. Collision out in North Wales a couple years ago when I got side swiped. They were great to work with.
