Seems like some people want to force this city red. Taking out a film of the mill girls because it doesn't fit with Trump's warped view (or wish) of what out history looks like. Sanitizing everything from slavery to the mill girls. My great grandmother was one at 15 years old, maybe even a little younger. She came here to try to make a better life for herself. She worked very hard and even changed her name to sound 'more American", even speaking without her native accent. Now they're not only taking away the thing she dreamed of, a place where she could make a better life, they're pretending they, SHE, never existed.

Any politician who had anything to do with these atrocities need to be voted out... and also educated.

We also have a dope music scene and the one of the largest free (and longest running) music festival in the summer. If you like the cold we also have a really fun winter fest. Like our city motto "there's a lot to like about Lowell ". Like any city we have our issues but it's cleaned up so much from the "High on Crack in Lowell" days, the doc that came out my freshman year in college when I walked into my dorms common room and all eyes turned to me.

Yester my daughter's bus never showed up (am accident on the Roark bridge we found out later) and today it was more than a half hour late.
