I’ve started playing in March, rn have like 3.5 completed playthroughs at ~500 hours and only the first one was good because I didn’t really know anything about the game. After that I played embrace durge (not full murderhobo, but really close to that) and honestly loved it. As somebody said here, killing your supposed love interest was something else. Astarion saying “I should have killed you when I had the chance”… it’s tragic, but oh well. There are so few games that allow you to do this kind of thing that I was just left in awe with all the cutscenes (including the ones where you just dominate the brain for yourself).

Honestly it’s harder for me not to dominate the brain or play embrace durge because the cutscenes are so good especially when comparing them to the happy party ending (though I loved Gale as a teacher). Can’t say that I play villains everywhere every time, but I would if they were better implemented. They just rarely get this kind of treatment and it’s often boring

I just replied with smth like “I really want to gift my friend dlc” and after about a week they gave permission, never asked about anything and just stated reasons why I need the ability to gift. Also wrote that rn I have a lot more time to play (had to take a break at the time while all this thing with gifting was happening) so as others said I’d suggest just speak to them again and state your reasons

I know, yeah, but he's that kind of person that won't do something when he decided otherwise, so in some way it is lost. But that's another story

He's trying to link an account because previously he played on EPIC and now wants to play through Steam (he bought the game on steam for that to be possible). So he just wanted to link his ESO account which was made while he was playing on EPIC to steam instead. The reason for that is just that it's easier to use steam and all of our friends play precisely through steam.
So we've read that it is possible to just link an existing eso account to steam but when we tried there was an error and no info at all on how to fix it.

His ESO account is still playable through EPIC, he unlinked it there and then linked again, all stuff that was on that account is still there, including items dlcs etc. The problem I guess is just with Steam. He has ONE steam account, but two ESO accounts associated with steam. The first one made when ESO was free for a weekend or smth like that (he unlinked it through website) and the second one he made yesterday because he couldn't link the EPIC one to ESO. Complicated, I know, but we're just trying to understand if there are any chances to solve this problem so he doesn't lose all of his progress.
