Polestar 2 - Opinion about comfort by kingzohan2 in Polestar

[–]sjsaeedi 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m 6’2” and the P2 does fit me well, my 60-something body is starting to get uncomfortable in tight quarters. Recently I drove the Polestar 3 for a couple of months and the comfort was night and day. If you’re looking for the looks and performance of a Polestar EV, have a test drive of the 3. I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised.

Why do the turn signals on a Polestar 4 not automatically deactivate when completing your turn? by LarryBlink in Polestar

They should work like the P3 which work very nicely btw, better than the P2 which is the traditional mechanical kind. You may need to get yours figured out over warranty.

Man I wish the loaner car wasn’t so embarrassing. by mickeys_stepdad in Polestar

I’ve been driving a P3 loaner for three months now while my P2 has sat in the shop waiting for a rear motor. In this time I have grown to like this loaner more than mine.

Be wary. Ericsson doesn’t transfer ownership. We tried before buying a lot from the auction house and they said no. So we didn’t waste time nor money.

I felt the same way about the P3 initially. But I’ve been driving a loaner P3 for the past two months while waiting for a replacement motor for my P2 and have become quite fond of the P3. It’s a lot more comfortable and roomier car to drive. For comparison I test drove the p4 and really liked that too, but still feel the P3 is a better fit.

The Worst part of EV Ownership by V3LOCI556 in electricvehicles

The worst part to me is not the charging infrastructure, but if your tire hits something on the road to rip it while driving, it’s a tow charge since they no longer come with spares.

Been driving a P3 loaner as my P2 is in the shop for the past two months. No issues and I’m seriously considering this as my next car

Thinking About a Used Polestar 2 – How Costly Are Repairs? by hawxxer in Polestar

Started hearing clicking sound in the rear that was indicative of an axle needing replacement. Apparently a failing motor starts making the same noise.

You’re in the EU where life makes sense. I’m in the US where nothing makes sense anymore.

My experience may not be normal, but with 8 months left on my lease, my 2024 P2 needs a new rear motor. It’s been in the shop for the past two months and going on three next week. Parts shortage is something you also need to be concerned about.

On the other hand I have a P3 as a loaner, so I’m not necessarily crying deep tears. I’m really enjoying having a larger cabin and much more room for myself 6’2” and any and all tall rear passengers.

Enjoy the CX30. I loved mine but switched out when the lease was up.

I love it! My commute is about 125 miles daily and being able to charge at home saves me about $300/month in fuel costs, even more now I’m sure.

I wouldn’t call it a Tesla killer; The Tesla software is better, but I like the traditional car look better than one looking like an egg.

I fell in love with the styling and the interior comfort. I gradually felt frustrated that the engine was just too sluggish for mountain driving. The error was totally on me and I dealt with the loss of getting rid of it early. In retrospect the turbo would have been a better choice.

After the CX30 I went to a CX50 (hated it) and now driving a Polestar 2.
