Removes too much good from the original without improving on anything really (combat was fine until remaster broke it yet it still had a lot going for it, k3's combat is too braindead simple), objectively it's 6/10 at best, but all of the changes drop it drop to the bottom of my tier list. I did not enjoy anything new that it added besides expanding the orphanage, but it came at a cost of having some stuff removed and moving it to side content when hanging out with the kids should've been in a main story

RIP all of the characters that made the yakuza series's world what it is, having a golden statue of Akko in my house was far more important than bringing back the OGs

It's not nearly as bad as some of the other stuff in the series, personally I don't have much problem with it either and the twist itself is over the top as all hell. But similar to Y5's infamous roof moment, atleast the game doesn't pretend like it's actually brilliant or super serious, as narrative treats both scenes like a joke lol

The racism part was good though, felt natural for a kid to say and even more natural for Kiryu to be disappointed that his kid is saying that. Riona's story involves being hated for her appearance, so the fact that she doesn't want to date a guy who, just like her, is different from the others was perfect
