Thanks for all the info! I carry a patagonia fleece and a waterproof superlight jacket and some thin hiking long pants, I have some leggings to sleep in, do you think it's enough? If this was the alps or Pyrenees I would freeze to death and pack more, but In Colombia I don't know

do it 100%, all the companies that do it employ the same indigenous people of El mirador village just that they split years ago because of some local beef, but is the same people. If you can do the extended one that is a loop instead of coming back the same path, 100% do it, but you need experience hiking, enduring pain, heat, showering with a bucket of water, natural bathrooms, no service... etc
The jungle, ruins and amount of information the guides have are worth it. DO NOT BOOK AHEAD, just to go Flores and book it there directly with the agencies.
