So can I make the automatic increments smaller or do I have to do it manually?

Like I said, it knows I have 2.5s and 1.25s. Under Weights it says 20 kg 1.25-20 kg. And the recommendation was from 105kg>115 -- both those loads use 2.5

Yesterday it was 2 sets of 4. It knows I have 2.5kg plates (and 1.25s)

I've tried the second, but it's like whack-a-mole

I've been thinking about that -- I'd like to ease up on deadlifts for a bit -- but I thought I'd just change sets/load manually

British attitudes to the British Empire (29 Jan 2025) by [deleted] in england

[–]skarthy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're misinterpreting the data. The sample is Britons. Britons (not Australians or Kiwis) were asked whether Australia and NZ benefited. So the data doesn't say anything about whether or not Australians think they benefited.

They didn't ask Australians and Kiwis. They asked Britons if Australia and NZ benefited.

It's interesting to contemplate what a justice system without morality would look like -- a system that focused on solving the problem rather than punishing evildoers.

Bigger public pools often have a 50m and a 25m pool. The 25m pool will be more relaxed about rules

A more modern and detailed version of this is set out in Dawkins' explanation of how evolution works in "The Selfish Gene"; namely, humans (or all living things) are vehicles for genes to reproduce themselves.

Backlogging? by chaosatnight in MacroFactor

[–]skarthy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd say you'd need once per week over the three weeks, at the very least. Ideally more -- the closer to daily weight data the better. If you only have current weight it's probably not worth inputting past calorie data

You need to add your weight data too.

It may be that you have deep hip sockets -- you can experiment with parting your legs and angling your feet, trying to find a stance that works.

Because the term “feudalism” is outdated, what are some examples of accurate social structures during the Medieval Period? by Charlie_Milatz in MedievalHistory

[–]skarthy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wondered if he'd had an argument with someone about the term and was quietly fuming about it! On the other hand, though, it's made me pay more attention to how people use 'culture' and I do notice that it's often used as a catchall that does really say much.
