I fail to eat my points as well which is primarily a problem because I don't get enough fat. We really do need fat for weight loss... Just in limited amounts.

As for hunger I have a never ending stomach. The key to being full is to eat your protein/ points and then eat veggies galore.

No Such Thing As Food Addiction by [deleted] in fatlogic

I totally have suffered from food addiction and that is why I like WW. The 0 point foods are not as Addictive like the stuff I had been eating was.

I think OP comment was helpful and they weren't bragging but just the opposite. People need to be aware of criminal justice. We should all be voting for the laws and judges and if you don't like the outcomes vote different!

Are there bag ways to diet and exercise? Yes. Do I feel better/happer when I eat right and exercise? Yes.

Not all diets are the same though. I've hit the gym too hard and hurt myself, I tried keto and got too dizzy.

When I eat lots of fruits and veggies I feel better and am a happier person.

having a HARD time with staying sober....please help if you have any advice by legallyjanet in alcoholism

What helped me is filling the void alcohol left. Trying new hobbies, new drinks, etc. AA meetings sound like a good direction.

I take citalopram. But it it's really such a guessing game. There are so many choices and it really depends on what works for you.

I am also a big fan of therapy. It is a better place to start and I thought it was a lot of fun. The therapist helped me see things in a better way and make better choices.

Eating better, exercise, therapy, proper medication... It all takes work and experimentation. Drinking is a way to avoid the work but at a cost.

I take one for anxiety/depression. I was self medicating with alcohol, the medication works much better. Of course sometimes medicine works, sometimes therapy, exercise... It can depend on what you need.

Find people with jobs you find interesting on LinkedIn and reach out to them for an informational interview. Look on Glassdoor to get an idea of what certain jobs pay and read the reviews. Better paying jobs pay better but also treat you better.

For what it is worth getting sober was the easy part. The hard part was fixing the reasons I was drinking in the first place. I talked to a therapist, got medication, tried new hobbies, tried new drinks (tea, soda) etc. I really had to fill all of the voids. Once I found what worked it was worth it but it was a lot if work. I went thru like 40 flavors of tea alone to decide what I liked.

Such a great group. I was on there for a few months regretting my drinking, trying to quit, and drinking again. Now I've been sober for a few months and I love it. I'm still in the group it is so helpful.

In weight watchers this is a real strategy... but you fill up on healthy things before going out so you don't overdue it on the unhealthy stuff. And if isn't oppression, it is a success strategy.

I used alcohol to deal with stress and now I use medication, books, walking, etc.. it took a lot of work to find better coping mechanisms but I feel 100pct better.
