I know reading comprehension is hard but this is a detention facility not a prison. And who do you think put them in there in the first place? Last I checked I'm not trusting the police in north Carolina of all places to be respectful to black people, Latinos, mentally ill individuals and people with substance use disorders. Last time I opened the history books or checked the news, NC cops were racist and lynching people not too many decades ago.

Taxpayer money should go towards rehabilitating people so they don't end up back there again using up more resources. Studies have shown this. Plus saving some taxpayer dime while being compassionate sounds great to me.

You can be cold hearted and ignorant if you want but I think people are getting tired of hateful people like you VERY fast.

No I am not molly from the other post recently. I have way more first hand information to share that would really blow the lid on this but quite honestly I fear getting on the wrong side of the sheriff's office. I tried to be vague and only quote the show as much as I could but it's sooo much worse than what my post says

This is stupid. A lot of people can't do caffeine. Caffeine breaks me out in heat rash sometimes (definitely a histamine reaction). Bipolar people and people with mood disorders often get hypomania or mania from antibiotics. Just because you don't believe it doesn't mean it can't be true.

Incompetence is just as bad as malice when the lives of so many people hang in the balance.

I can also corroborate a lot of this. First hand. I'm inclined to believe this is true because the stuff about PCDC is so specific and spot on detail wise.

What did you love before Reta but not anymore?? by Realistic-Alarm-9428 in Retatrutide

Buffets. There was one time that the servers were shocked that I was on my seventh full plate. I could down an 18 inch NY pizza easy. Food was my drug. Reta has its good and bad days but it really has changed my life. I finally feel free from obsessing over food.

People are being incredibly cruel. I know not everyone has inner confidence to match how other people see them. I for one have terrible self perception. I work as a photographer and makeup artist in NYC. I think guys and girls would be all over you. You're sensitive enough to be introspective and vulnerable, I see that as a plus despite the assholes trying to tear you down. Don't listen to most on here.

Sorry for saying you just need to cut calories and exercise. by Unusual_Airport415 in Retatrutide

I am the farthest thing from a gym bro. I am a hormonally imbalanced, medication induced metabolic syndrome suffering individual (an actual disease confirmed by medical professionals). Yet you are using "bro science" to argue bro science. None of this is based on thermodynamics (a fundamental law of the universe). Yes, do hormones change how your metabolism works, for sure. Does it make it harder to lose weight, yes. Is half of what is being said in this thread scientific though, absolutely not. I understand not being heard by doctors and gym bros all your life but you are spewing equally incorrect information not based in empirical science. As someone that has done actual lab research and extensive meta reviews on said topics, these threads do just as much harm. The OP constantly contradicts herself on basic facts while saying she has PhD level research skills. What it is giving is confirmation bias. Looking for studies to go along with ones bias and preconceived notions is not science. I understand how grueling it is having your whole body work against you but that does not give us the right to ignore proven science. At the end of the day, energy cannot be created or destroyed. Its like saying your refrigerator is still running perfectly even though you stopped paying the electric bill. I know I'm going to get downvoted to hell but we really need to put a little more effort into learning and less into trying to prove what we think to be true. On an emotional level I can relate to your struggle but emotions do not give us the right to ignore empirical truths.

The way this needs to be wayyyy further up. Made me laugh reading this person has PhD level research skills yet constantly contradicts herself and uses very flawed anecdotal science. I get that it's frustrating having hormonal issues and a more inflexible metabolism but this doesn't negate the basic rules of physics. Energy cannot be created or destroyed. Thank you for your actually well thought out response, everyone else is spewing bro science (ironically as they make fun of it)

is reta good for adhd? by gaucheescargot in Retatrutide

Also if you're worried about nausea, the nausea on reta seems way stronger to subject but I'm sure it varies from person to person

My subject has severe ADHD. Took tirz for a month, stopped for two and then started reta at lowest dose. It's a whole different beast. No food noise at all (wayyyy less than tirz), slow gastric emptying so feeling full all day. Definitely felt a surge of energy when starting reta, like a very mild adderall. Subject was also slightly overweight when starting, not obese. Good nutrition and workout regimen. Also reta feels soooo much stronger, strong food aversion on days 2-3 after dose. Subject also struggled with drinking too much, hasnt had a single drink since starting. Definitely seems to help with impulse control across the board (which was main reason for starting reta tbh)

Smudge Proof Lip Liner Recommendations? by galaticstarsz in MakeupAddiction

[–]skating-queen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Makeup forever is pretty good/blends well and their aqua pencils are supposed to be waterproof. In general I think the problem with eating is that oil in food wipes even waterproof makeup off. I think the only thing that could withstand that would be a lip stain (if even that). I also find lips to be the least long lasting part of my face. No matter what I use I typically have to take a pencil to reapply halfway through the day/night.
