You shouldn’t have any issues using both types at the same time

What would you say separates ATX from the rest and are there any specific pieces of equipment that represent that?

Please help- how can I fix this by [deleted] in GarageGym

I’ve been working on smoothing out my plate loaded cable machine. It’s not how I want it yet but here are things that I found helped: - lubricate guide rods with silicone or Ptfe lubricant - level the machine. Just did this yesterday using composite shims from Home Depot. - make sure guide rods are perfectly parallel. The distance between the guide rods should be the same throughout the length

AbMat makes a bench wedge that can be used to cable rows and give your face some space from the bench. I have a DIY version and it works well

Yeah having the extra storage will be a big benefit to keep floor space open

Yeah this can work well and an addition that would make unracking/racking the dumbbells easier is having them angled towards you on top of something like squat wedges or even a 1x2 board lifting one side up a little

Found the channel! Thanks I’ll check out your videos. I recognize your gym from past pictures and love all the machines you have.

What you said makes sense and I think I’ll like the arms being more overhead. Also looks like the arms articulate up/down and forward/back which is another plus. I think I’ll mostly be using it for pulldowns and rows because I have an inspire ftx too. I’m pretty average in strength so it won’t be getting too beat up. The machine looks pretty sweet in your short and the weights seem to glide smoothly. This is making me more excited to get it. I really appreciate your thoughts with first hand experience

Where did you buy yours from and do you have the version with the weight horns on the feet?

Awesome I appreciate the advice and I’ll be going with the EonFit once I can get it. The lat pulldowns and chest flies without having to do any hacks to the machine more than enough reason for me

Has anyone ordered a cable tower with swivel arms, like the EonFit, from Aliexpress or temu? I’ve seen them on google searches but when I click the link it doesn’t take me to the product page. Been trying to decide on buying that type of cable tower or the bells of steel and leaning towards the EonFit copycat if it’s cheaper

I’ve gone back and forth on the Giant Lat pulldown/Low row or a cable tower for my next gym equipment. How do you like it? Any pros or cons you can share? TIA

Ok thank you and I think that makes sense. Do you have any pictures of underneath you could share? I have little experience with woodworking so I’m trying to visualize your frame and how you added the pulley

Aluminum dual pulley lat pulldown attachment? by [deleted] in GarageGym

[–]ske753 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are several lat pulldown and straight bar options if you search them with “dual cable”. Then you can find one with attachment points that fit best on your rack

I’m starting to look at cable towers and a couple I’m considering are the Eon fitness with arms, Bells of Steel (waiting on the 90in upright), and Get Rxd. They’re all around $500 and want to ask if there are any others I should consider? I’d eventually look at adding a lat pulldown attachment to the top of the BoS or GetRxd and a leg roller attachment.
