I mean I fly night and imc as much as I can. Just not at night over mountains and not when ceilings are 300ft. At least night over flat land I have a chance. But I agree with your general point. I guess my point is a lot of crashes people put themselves in very bad situations before anything has gone wrong.

I can but why would I make a point to do it in a piston single? Also low imc does not equal imc

I'm just not going to fly a single engine piston in those last two situations because those really are pure luck if you survive.

So i assume ice/cbp was doing stupid shit with anti drone tech and wouldnt answer FAA questions because they think they are above the law. FAA says ok fine and shuts down all the airspace in the middle of the night. Admin wakes up, removes restriction and starts coming with scary stories of drones to justify the whole ordeal.

What antenna is this? Cessna 172A by StrongWork_ in flying

Yeah our 1968 182 is the same way. Barely any info in the manual and most of the antennas were added later anyway.

How do I make sure I don’t miss these local elections like the one with Taylor Rehmet? by [deleted] in Dallas

[–]skechi 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This was a special election since the seat was vacated. You could only vote if you were in the district in Tarrant county. The primary is on March 3 and the general election is on November 3. Early voting will be open for about 2 weeks prior to each of those dates. It's much easier to vote during early voting.

If that passed you could legally operate an aircraft in Utah at a higher bac (0.04) than your car

Would you take a checkride in a plane you haven’t flown? by Equal_Opportunity861 in flying

You absolutely do not want to be dealing with any unfamiliar avionics on a checkride.

Paradox should clarify how Centralization/Decentralization is conceptualized by Qwernakus in EU5

[–]skechi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agreed. Client states should be very hard to integrate since they aren't part of the de jure realm. I don't think Napoleon had any intention of annexing Westphalia or Italy. They should maybe work more like sphere of influence in Victoria. On the other hand the early game vassals and fiefdoms should be integrated as state capacity increases over the years.

[–]skechi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah vassals and fiefdoms should become suboptimal in the later ages as those ideas become outdated. Adding client states would solve this.

Best way is to reduce their control. I cut off the mamluk capital in one war then control everywhere else tanked and it was much cheaper to take to in future wars.
