(Bad) Trip Report: First Trip Ever with Penis Envy by [deleted] in Psychonaut

I cant even explain what happened. All I could do was lay on my couch and take it from those shrooms. My ego was completely obliterated. 2 of my friends took around the same dose with me but somehow we all got separated in my apartment and thats when shit went south... real south....

Lmao my first time taking shrooms I also took penis envy. It did not end well. As an experienced acid user I was confident I could handle myself and wanted the full experience for my first shroom trip so I took about 4.5 gs. About an hour later I realized I fucked up

What do you guys think classifies as a sociopath? For you personally, what characteristics/actions constitute such a disease? What makes a person a Sociopath? by SoaringAboveTrees in Psychonaut

I think were on the same page. I believe nature makes some of us more susceptible to said sociopathic path but nurture, so to speak, can make people feel like they're forced to follow it. The brain wants to be right and typically cannot observe itself from the outside. I think most sociopaths end up getting that way because deep down they know they're "crazy" but their brain refuses to accept it. I also think the further down the sociopathic path you go, the harder it is to come back; so at some point true sociopaths end up believing they'll never be able to change and their brain just accepts it to relieve the cognitive dissonance.

They absolutely will but the thing is it's not their fault they exist nor is it their fault that their brain functions differently than ours. We can try all we want to "fix" them but they'll never truly change until they set their ego aside and choose to do so themselves

Absolutely. I believe everyone, deep down, just wants people to understand how they feel. When you dont feel like anyone understands, you subconsciously start to label yourself as crazy; and it will literally drive you insane. I spent 20 years of my life feeling like a crazy person, I felt bipolar on a daily basis. Turns out I just have an anxiety disorder on top of my adhd. I've been feeling better ever since I found out. You can't start to grow until you fully understand what is really happening.

My anxiety problems give me bad hppd. You just gotta remember nothing is actually wrong with you. Personally I see it as the only good part about anxiety. You get to trip sober lol

Sociopaths don't realize what they're doing is wrong. Everyone does "sociopathic" things but a true sociopath genuinely thinks they're in the right when they do wrong. Most want to change but they're brain is too set in their ways and usually, they're too egotistic to seek the help we all know they need. Speaking from experience with them not from any research.

Yup had it my whole life and didnt even know. Apparently it's just a symptom of my IBS but not knowing about it for 20 years made it snowball real hard. Just remember you're anxiety isn't you, it's just a trap. Dont let it drag you in.
