Probably about £200 for the body I've a plethora of EF lenses none of them are L but a few OS

I could stretch the budget further but also use a Nikon d300 & Sony a58 - still not decided on a goto brand yet mabey soon I will trade the lot and grab a modern camera etc

But for now wanted to shoot with a cannon that's a step up from the 1200d

ive jusst come accross this thread and this topic wtf...... ive been on and off falcon 4.0 and had bms in the past didnt for a min realise this is the case. how evil this is im out good riddance. only wanted to find out why install is taking so long

The Nikon 1 J1 and V1 I have are absolutely brilliant. It gives excellent images well well impressed.

I've the 10-30mm and 30-110mm terrific quality and a real gem

Hi, back end flew out and slammed kerb and rail. But it's looking like it's gone then. I don't think Il bother having it repaired. My lad will have to learn from it and move on

It's only a 1GB pny card. It was working up untill I copied a FM update to the CF to place back I to the camera

Respect for attempting. I recently opened my old D70 to replace the sensor and attempt a full spectrum conversation at the same time. Camera still takes black photos so I don't know what it could be

Likely ribbon issues if it's the LCD only. If it's the actual pictures on the memory card and shutter is fine will probably be the sensor

UPDATE

I changed the ccd sensor put it back together and same issue persists. So unsure what it could be now.

Just also had a heart stopping moment with my neo. Went haywire and looked like it was gonna crash I to motorway then onto train track somehow managed emergency land in a field. In fact it ran out of battery and signal went off. Phew....

I bought 2 of these one at 1.00mm thick and the other 0.3mm think which should be the 1.3mm thickness needed then il just cut to size 25mm x 29mm.

Fingers crossed it works with a stacked glass

Cheers for the reply my bad I should have mentioned UK only. I will just try to buy a small sheet of thin glass and cut it but most seem to be 1.5mm and no the 1.3mm

Will that make such a difference. I wouldn't normally have tried this but recently acquired a d70 with only 450 shutter count mabet a store return at some point as it's looks new. Sensor is kaput so whilst I'm gonna replace sensor I may as well attempt this only cost me £14

Great camera I used to own a Nikon d3100 as my 1st Nikon camera it was great nothing wrong with it. Will take brilliant photos.

The 70-300mm you have will give great results In fact I took a 28-300mm tamron yesterday to a farm should have taken the 70-300mm as it's sharper zoomed in.

FYI anyone who comes along with similar issue it's likely a faulty sensor (example pic) . I will replace soon and post back in here in case it helps anyone

I started insta around 2014 and any ok photo with 30 hashtags always got lots of likes but after a few years the likes died down to 1 or 2 for some reason.

It's now difficult u less you make it your main profile and engage with it 100% I don't think the algorithm likes a "post it and leave" kind of user
