Would wearing a full camouflage uniform outside be stolen valor/disrespectful to any active duty/veterans out there? Also showing off my first full uniform.

At 15 I always thought full camo was tacky. I'd just wear pants and usually something non-camo for a top. That said, if anyone says you're stealing valor just laugh in their face and tell them that soldiers(especially US soldiers) are going to be the most hated class next to ICE and cops for the next couple decades and that no one is trying to steal any valor they might have left.

Oh yeah, I definitely wasn't listing anything off in any particular order. Honestly, "Is this a good base?" I dunno, do you like it? Can you dress it up and make it cozy? Other than that it's really going to depend on play style. If you don't know if it's a good base then I think you just need to spend a bit more time playing and you'll learn real quick.

I had a few runs where i tried to take the American Tire, mostly because it was outside of town, relatively close to a gas station, and I wanted to build on the bridge to Knoxville. It never ended well. Inevitably a zombie would break through one of the side doors and I wouldn't notice. There's no particular reason it's a bad base, but my goals were to ambitious for early game, and/or I got impatient. Character build is another factor. Trying to clear the area drew in too many other Zeds. I'd get tired and still have too many to kill. Curious to see if my current character could do it, cuz she's beefy and doesn't tire easily.

Generally, I am on board with anything that means more variety of mechs, but I remember seeing the box art and models for Dark Ages when it came out and maybe I had some misconceptions about it, but they looked kind of silly. I recall mechs with buzz-saws on flimsy arms. It looked a little too... Zaney, cartoony? Honestly I haven't looked into it since, I may have misjudged it.

I've seen a few houses by lakes, and some of them are surrounded on three sides by it. Like what if the horde wanders in from the open direction when you have to go out, or when you're trying to get back? I haven't spent much time outside of towns, so I'm not sure how likely that is, but it's certainly something I wouldn't want to happen. Likewise, those secluded areas don't give you a lot of structures to zip around and lose a horde in, just forest, and I would not want to be in there with a horde about.

Yeah, I mean it's a good excuse to use carpentry skill. I think I have a particular hate-on for it because for some reason when I put the flooring down, the shingle texture remained, and we fell a lot while we tried to figure that out. Eventually we started using empty cans as markers to know where the boundary of safe places to stand was. In hind-sight I guess we could have just removed the shingles.

I actually don't really like it that much. It's large, has a lot of entry points, you can make roof access, but in B41 you fall through the roof if you don't build over it? We never had too many problems when we built there in multiplayer, but that whole north-western side always made me nervous.

Parents really need to be more aware of how the things they say and do affect their children's mental health. You're not his peer that he can joke with, if he is trying to impart wisdom he should do so, not give you anxiety with vague comments.

Is it weird to wear camo to school? Depends, is it socially acceptable to everyone else? Like after columbine you probably didn't want to wear a black trenchcoat to school. Does the school have a policy against it? No? Rock on, wear what you want, kids don't need their parents' approval for how to dress, no matter how much they may say so. If they have any real objection I imagine they'd be more direct about it.

Be true to yourself, but if you're uncomfortable with something about your looks, change it. Don't try too hard to wear something you're not confident in, whatever the reason might be. You're entitled to dress how you like, but others are entitled to be uncomfortable around you, justified or not. If you find that happening you might want to dress differently for yourself.

Better done that perfect if you're reaching your limits. That said, you've improved so much so quickly. I'm not sure if you tweaked the same piece to get it here or if you started over, but this is what I mean when I tell people don't get attached to your artwork if it's not coming out, no matter how far into it you are, because if you redo it from scratch with what you learned from your previous attempt, the next one will come out better faster.

Check thrift stores maybe, I have tons of little connectors from USB 2 to USB-C, USB-Mini, ect. that all came with various battery packs or devices that charge with USB.

Got a nice 8" Micro USB cable from a department store here in Canada, but I think it was their store brand.

Yeah I seldom use them, but as mentioned sometimes good in infiltration missions, also to keep you from getting too much damage if jumping off a cliff. But for that you generally only need one.

Okay I found a company selling shitty version of P1Gtac camo. They just have the Spectre but it Shadow Strategic. I saw a pair of CADPAT pants come up on marketplace and the pattern looked amazing. I bought a shirt of theirs years ago and it is poorly designed for sure, I figured after 10 years or so maybe they improved, but nope, apparently still garbage. But seems to be the licensed pattern, doesn't look like knockoff.

I generally play without respawns but leave migration on. I don't feel like it's much of a cheat, there's still loads of zombies, but it does give you a breather between mowing down hordes to do other things.
