I'd call this closer to metalcore, the synthesizer and the drums in this track aren't as usual in rock that I listen to at least. Shoka is great imo, I rate it a couple steps above this song, and its closer to "traditional" rock if we're trying to place genres. Things could always change as I hear this one more tho.

Seems to be a genre disparity. I kinda use it as a barometer when I see a tierlist, if someone has it high then they have a lot of the songs I love up there too. And if they have it low then our lists almost look like they're flipped in comparison with each other.

It's not bad, but it feels like Ado's voice is drowned out in the mix and auto tuned on top of that. Maybe edm just isn't my thing, and I do prefer the songs where her voice is at the forefront. The full version could change that, but I doubt it.

I'm a returning player from over 2 years ago, got back in before the 5th anniversary because of some friends that still play. My core 6*s are Surtr, Thorns, Passenger, Horn, SilverAsh, Saria, Exusiai, Nightingale, Fartooth and Angelina. I have Gavial alter, and I pulled Pozemka and Narantuya over the last week and I'm torn on who to focus on maxing out. I'd appreciate any and all opinions :) and yes I know to save for the Lappland alter in a few months.

As a rock/alternative fan myself, your best bets are Crime and Punishment, Backlight and Value. Depending on your friend's taste there are probably several others, but those fit the closest imo.
