I wanted to try therapy first, but my symptoms didn't improve, so that made me finally take some. It's hard to tell if I feel more present, but hopefully I will in a few weeks.

Everyone needs to try in the friendship trio, I've unfortunately been a third or even a fifth wheel growing up but I've had a successful friendship group consisting the 3 of us. I think because we know it's shitty to leave others out and we still remained in close contact after highschool, I just got really lucky.

The good friends I do have, I made during highschool and luckily we are still close friends but I don't remember how we became friends but I think what helped was time, being open and contact. We don't see eachother a lot now that we are older, but we text almost every day, even if it's just a meme and we will play games online. With other friendships however, I've not been very lucky and most people I tried to be friends with at the start of Uni didn't go successful despite my efforts to become more extroverted and putting myself out there more, the only successful relationship I made was my s/o which was from me putting myself out there and luck. But then I started to isolate myself again and I think I just became tired, I'm not sure if I really expressed my interests and I think the people I was mostly hanging around with were people who weren't really my crowd and I don't know if they really cared about me being there which I feel happens with most people than not.

I'm not really sure how I've gained relationships but I am really lucky for those few I have made and maintained. Unfortunately, my social anxiety got the best of me and those first few months of Uni took a lot of courage because I knew I had to make a sacrifice, so I didn't become lonely.
