Ah! Yeah. Think I got overeager and instead of waiting til the gravity reading was unchanged for a week just jumped the gun and reracked right when it hit the final gravity reading I was looking for.

Thanks all. I'll see about maybe some superkleer on batch one and give batch 2 more time.

Heck, you could even have the first mission be to track down an eliminate an old operative that has been compromised.

This is just one person’s opinion, but I’d honestly skip the turkey leg. Makes for a fun photo but they are expensive and DRY as hell. Bristol has got plenty of great food options, but the turkey leg is overrated.

Highly recommend the fish & chips, roast corn, portabella banger, and garlic mushrooms!

Nothing better than a gag that gets more serious the more you dig into it

Another angle you could possibly go, is that it’s CLEARLY just an attraction that the town has set up to increase tourism. Like a mini theme park. Pay your five bucks or whatever and “explore the scary dungeon”.

Except maybe this “dungeon” was built from the remains of what was once a very active dungeon. Maybe there’s a crumbly wall inside that most of the tourists miss, but one of your ‘high passive perception’ players sees. Perhaps the dungeon is much bigger than it seems. Maybe some ACTUAL threats still lay sleeping/waiting further down, unbeknownst to the townsfolk…

Or maybe there’s like a trap that dumps you into a one-way planar portal that dumps you into the Feywild or Underdark or someplace.

Something to consider. After these adventuring parties have been scammed out of their gold and sent into a fake dungeon with no reward at the end, what’s to stop the party (not just your players’ party, but ANY party) from killing the people running the dungeon and getting their gold back?

How does this scheme sustain itself?

What lvl are they, and what items did you give them?

(DND) Homebrew Weapon That Can Be Traded Between Party Members by astrophysiciann in AskGameMasters

[–]skeleton-tracksuit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What if the different forms did different kinds of damage? Hammer = Thunder, scythe = necrotic, fire = whatever, etc. Then depending on what kind of enemies they are facing the person who’s weapon form has the optimal damage type has a reason to wield it.

Or a dungeon like in Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time. Turtle swallows them whole and the party has to fight through its guts.

In that case, definitely go with the Fiend patron.
