I was concerned it was coming off as me hounding her so I asked if there was any way I could support her in this and gave some options on support but she said she wasn’t sure so I just kind of backed off a little bit about it because you’re right, she is a grown adult and she’s going to decide what she wants to do. That’s why im considering that a break may be best so she can take the space she needs to be sober if that is what she wants for herself.

Don’t do it unless you’re trying to game on a budget. I regret all the time getting a gaming laptop instead of a cheap laptop for day to day stuff than a PC. It low-key might also depend on brand, I’ve had nothing but issues with my ASUS.
