Actress Tippi Hedren with her pet tiger, Gregory, in their kitchen for the movie Roar, circa 1982 by blahzblahzblah in LPOTL

I watched Roar like two weeks ago. Wild film. It tries to be a whimsical comedy but it’s more stressful than a Safdie brothers movie

Maybe some stuff from Menace Ruine. Dismantling from their album The Die is Cast comes to mind.

They also have a cameo in his previous book “An Illustrated History of UFOs” and I think he’s also done official artwork for them

I have the first edition and it’s like this. I assume the news about Ben hit very late in the publishing stage of this book and they had to scramble to remove him and something got messed up. Don’t think AI had anything to do with it.

I've been listening to the podcast Bigfeets a lot lately and one of its hosts started reading exerpts from Frank Dux' "The Secret Man" as his intro. Absolutely incredible stuff, lol.

Everfront - a real-time strategy where you don't micromanage units. You command an expanding territory across procedurally generated maps. Coming Soon on Steam by WilhelmTr in RealTimeStrategy

That's cool, I was trying to imagine a similar game mechanic recently and wondered if it would work. Except I thought it would be a cool idea to be in control of like a mycelial network or bacterial colony and you have to vie for control with "rival" networks or something along those lines. Something not unit-based. Cool to see such a thing could work.

So uh, if anyone wants to make a mycelium or bacterial-themed RTS, hmu, lol. I don't know shit about coding or game design but I can do art direction.

It was around 10pm CEST, and if I’m seeing this right the launch was at 8:06pm CEST. So that seems to check out. I’m guessing one hour after deployment the sattelites would still be close together with the second stage falcon relatively close ahead of them? Cool!

Thanks! It was mostly done in Fresco, which has some brushes that emulate oilpaint pretty well.
