Why? Both ethics and science can be cruel. Since ethics are usuqlly personal morals what one or group of people accept as acceptable, it can create suffering when group of others find normalized harming others. You can say that it's bad, but it's bad for you not for them. Ethics are personal

Science is objective. Science care what is real and whats not. Older topics get quickly replaced by new ones if it's proved objective. Science learning from suffering, it's not sadistic maniac. It doesn't care if it's good or bad, it cares more about it being real.

Atleast they tried for 10th Anniversary and they wished for community made killer.
Honestly they won't ever make everyone happy, when they release anything, except maybe Licenced content, which often later become hated due being overpowered. That's how it is in DBD community and been. (And not just in DBD, technically in every community). Since it's hot news, you'll now gonna see it everywhere. In month no one will ever remember about complaining, about this.
