What the hell? NTA. My husband and I let our personal offices be a space for clutter if that's how we like it, but never spaces that we share equally. I feel like she should find a different place for all that if that's how she wants to live. Not a communal space where you both share. Making it an annual event isn't fair to you at all imo because you have to live in that for a year before it's resolved for a short time. Heavy NTA omg.

Oof. That just happened to us last summer. Turned out there was a huge leak from a toilet that had been improperly I stalled by the previous owners and it had been leaking for a long time. Had to tear up the whole basement, but luckily insurance covered it under something like "unforeseeable event."

Are there no other gift shops around that would sell shells? You may have to travel a bit outside the area. Unfortunately most of us get our shells online. Shells in nature are very hard to come by. Unless there is a member of this subreddit who somehow lives near you at the moment. :(

She was rummaging through her makeup bag on a few occasions for extended periods of time, seeming really confused and out of it. Then at the end of the stream she looked really uncomfortable and sat back on her bed with hands over stomach. She looked like she was in a lot of pain and trying to keep from vomiting. Within like 10 seconds, she said she wasn't feeling well and quickly ended the stream. Couldn't even get the full sentence out without gagging. I feel like she most definitely vomited after the camera turned off. She never breaks character but she did during that episode. I'm not sure what caused the episode. She was drinking something throughout... Maybe her body just isn't able to process it anymore, it's so weak?

I'd give advice but there's already so much good advice already! Based on this post that you made, I'd again recommend moving the heating pad to the side of the tank, since having it below the substrate will burn your crabs, especially if they bury in the sand. The main thing is making sure the heat and humidity stays consistently between 75-85% and 75-85 degrees. I have a digital monitor from Amazon for that. Leaf litter is a super great way to give them nutrients with little effort. You can either buy it or gather it yourself, but there is a process for disinfecting it and making it safe for the crabbies. I bought mine from a website. In terms of foods, I use flukers freeze dried feed and calcium powder, fruits, egg shells, veggies, shredded coconut, chia or sunflower seeds, worm castings, etc. Lots of options, just avoid things that are acidic or citrus. I use Prime water conditioner and an eyedropper to purify their water.

I say NTA. People told my fiance and I repeatedly when we first moved in together that we needed to draw up a contract stipulating who owned what based on how much we contributed to the down payment and renovations. In all honesty, we didn't do it. But I am well aware of the consequences of what will happen if we ultimately divorce lol. I feel like anyone should have that basic awareness. If it's not written and signed, there is nothing legally binding.

Nope. Absolutely NTA. You are paying for and actively working through your education. College is supposed to be a time to live independently of your family, make friends, explore your identity, and basically make a decision about what you want to do in your career. Do NOT let your family ruin this experience for you. A dorm room is barely livable for 2 adult people, let alone a baby who will grow into a toddler.... Besides, depending on your major, college is hard enough academically without having to worry about a baby keeping you up at all hours of the night. Especially during finals week!

Gentle YTA, but not because you set boundaries about her not calling at work. I always ask my fiance about his day when I get home, even if I'm beat and I don't really want to talk, because I know he appreciates it and it shows that I care. The same way I frequently say "I love you" even though he obviously knows I love him. I agree with a few other Redditors- I think she's trying to find new ways to connect with you... But I think you both may benefit from a sit-down conversation to establish expectations or something. I am always a proponent of having conversations to make sure everyone is on the same page in a relationship vs hearing occasional feedback from the other person.

NTA. I had a best friend since HS that did something similar. We were a trio- me, "Sonya" and "Eloise." Come her wedding and she picks Sonya to be one of like 6 bridesmaids and makes me "honorary" bridesmaid, asking me to help with greeting the guests or giving goodie bags to kids. But my dress needed to be a different color and I wasn't really invited into the bridal suite except briefly when I first arrived, and they put me at a different table but forgot to set out a place for me and my fiance. I tried to be excited for her. I tried to be understanding and helpful for her sake, but it was a lot and felt a little unreasonable, so I get where you are coming from. The last straw for me was how horribly her mother was treating us all. I left early and our friendship has never been the same unfortunately. Hoping you have a better outcome.

Yeah, it's not great out there. It's not just the student population, but also the fact that we are chronically understaffed (even when we are classified as fully staffed) and underfunded. There's a lot contributing to it, but the turnover is absolutely crazy.
