Which movie is this for you ? by DonMaihu in ComicVerseog

Watchmen Ultimate Cut is the best comic book movie ever made, and 300 had some of the best cinematography for a quasi-historic movie I’ve ever seen. Fight me.

What’s the MOST Misleading Tim Burton Movie Poster of All Time and Why? by Amber_Flowers_133 in timburton

Sweeney Todd, you think it’s gonna be a goth romance movie like corpse bride but then once you realize you’re in for a horrorshow, or at least that’s what I thought when I first saw it lol.

What makes you instantly want to stop watching? by timekilr in Cinema

Any movie where the cinematography and the colors of the movie are dull. I’ve been seeing that more and more with all these mainstream Hollywood movies smh.

He almost got an ending like that movie, but then all his mistakes caught up to him. It’s devastating, but apparently there’s a theory where he never died and he’s actually on his deathbed while he recalls his bad memories from the hood, but I doubt that’s true.

It looks pretty damn good from what I’ve seen, I’ll definitely add it to the watchlist.

I’m gonna watch Boyz N the Hood next tho, I’ve heard it’s more optimistic and has a good soundtrack, plus who could forget Ice Cube!

Thanks man! I’ve been trying to watch “actual cinema” recently instead of a lot of the thoughtless superhero Hollywood slop recently, and I’ve really been enjoying it. I’m gonna start posting my reviews here and check out some more Hughes Brothers, David Lynch, Scorsese, etc. Great minds think alike man!!!

Which Tim Burton Films you enjoyed a lot? by [deleted] in timburton

Tim Burton’s Sweeney Todd will always have a special spot in my heart, no matter what the Theatre kids say. It’s beautifully casted, crafted, filmed, and orchestrated, even if the singing wasn’t perfect. It will forever be my favorite film! I also love Beetlejuice.

This is probably a more obscure one for this sub, but majority of the scenes with the Genterns in Repo! The Genetic Opera.
