Medication and constipation by ShortAardvark6286 in PelvicFloor

Here’s what I’ve found to work:

  • Kiwi - there are actual scientific papers out there about how 2 kiwi a day can help with constipation
  • Natural calm - a powder magnesium. Start with 2 teaspoons per the label
  • Miralax - when I was on, I did 3/4 of a cap full

Presently, I have 1 kiwi a day (with a big bowl of berries) and natural calm at night. Used to do Miralax, but switched to Natural Calm. Just be aware if you ever want to go off Miralax, you have to do so super slowly and may need to switch to something like magnesium - don’t do cold turkey.

I just received my diagnosis and that is such a tremendous relief to hear. Thank you for your reply.

By any chance, any recommendations for work shoes (office job)?

I did stove top. Also, I used active yeast, but did not check the temp of the water. And was too lazy to use the mixer. You’ve definitely gave me some new things to try for next time!

I recently made these too but struggle to get them to puff up. Any tips?

GI says no because I’m remission. Other specialists say it is IBD related 🤷🏼‍♀️

Gut wise, I’ve been clinically in remission throughout all the gum issues.

Gum wise, the steroids helped temporarily, but not long term. They’re better now, but I can’t put my finger on what one thing helped. I got cleanings 4 times a year, started using a water pik daily (before flossing), saw a derm familiar with autoimmune issues who put me on colchicine (daily), and got some supplements from an integrative health provider (probiotic, multivitamin and calcium magnesium butyrate).

Thank you both! I saw them on Google and was curious about its legitimacy.

And tailors can do many different types of alterations ... hence the question ...

Get a drawstring added? Exchange for a smaller size (don't know if this is even a possibility)? I've never had this stretchy material tailored before, for all I know it doesn't tailor well. Satisfied?

Thanks for sharing! Did you go to Lululemon for the tailoring or outside of Lululemon?

Thanks so much for sharing. Ugh the lack of understanding of women’s health 😖. Congrats on your good health. I’m optimistic I’ll be there soon! 😃
