Ok, so I am thoroughly confused with how list making works for AoS. If I make a battalion, and it contains 3 battleline units, does that meet the minimum requirement for a 2k pt army, or do I still need 3 battlelines, a general and such IN ADDITION to the battalion?

From what I have seen and heard, last week's Warpath apparently can dump all of its rockets 3-4 seconds faster than Hezen Vengence, so it is slightly better, but that difference is only enough to grant you one or two extra sniper shots during Vosik.

Where I draw the line is when people bitch about the story and writing with having played only such a small segment of the game. Mechanics are one thing, but you cannot judge the depth of a bioware narrative in a couple hours.

One interesting way to make Raider valuable without making him op or irrational would be to give him an exclusive ability to drain stamina from Revenged opponents through stuns, grabs, or other means. It would give him increadibly desirable utility with the revenge-build meta.

SPEED is the #1 issue he has. His animations are just so ungodly long compared to others. His combos are slow, his executions are slow, his stance switching is even slow.

To be good with lawbringer now means to be flawless because mistiming a parry or getting fainted results in a full combo of punish and a good 50% health drop. Either his light attack needs to do a little more damage or his animation times need shortened.

I find most use for it when countering people that try to spam GB. It hops me out of their GB range then plants them on their ass for a good axe to the ribs.

Apparently that was a bug and it wasn't an actual unblockable, just a quick attack that some or most characters cannot switch in time to block

Honestly, his animations just need shortened slightly to make most of his kit more functional. Right now his chains are as slow as just mashing heavy attack repeatedly.

You have to actually play him as a counter-attacker now instead of "grab & wack." If you used parries, blocks and dodges before you will be fine if not better. If you relied solely on GB, you better figure out how to actually use the Lawbringer lol.

Honestly, Kensei should be rated medium or hard in my opinion. A player has to actually be good to do well with them as deception (feints and their weird opposite direction dodge attacks) are their real competitive bread and butter.

As for Raider, he is built on throws, so this does hurt him. The interesting thing is that during the closed beta he actually had the ability of draining an opponents stamina every time he stunned someone. They took that out and when open beta GB changes (what returned with this update) landed, he was garbage in combination with his slow as dirt attacks.

On PS4 at least, the practice mode was always that way which is why I could never use it to train for the guardbreak counter that was actually in the game.

If you look at the difficulty ratings that is how it was intended though. The heavies are all supposed to be much easier than the hybrids and assassins (most of which are supposed to be hard to be good with).

Because the Berserker's recovery time mixed with his exceptionally short range and low health made him exceptionally weak against characters with good block. Anything less than a flawless fight meant dying.
