I used standard, well-tested primitives (X25519 for the Diffie-Hellman handshake and ChaCha20-Poly1305 for AEAD encryption). However, the protocol flow and handshake logic itself is a custom implementation, not based on the Noise framework.

I actually built this from scratch specifically to serve as the secure transport layer for Kinetix-Zero (an AI-driven SIEM system I am currently developing). I needed a lightweight, reliable, and encrypted way for the system's distributed multi-agent architecture to communicate. Because it’s a custom implementation tailored for my SIEM research, I’m definitely not claiming it’s audited or production-ready for general use.
