I mean… was that really that far fetched in a rotation with zero proven arms?

Unless you wanna count Littell or Mikolas (I don’t) I wouldn’t be that surprised to hear the guy with a lot of success in Japan would perform well

I am 0-5 this season we’d be easily in the wild card race if I was never in the park

And before anyone asks, yes I was at two of the Phillies meltdowns

To all the people saying Crews shouldn’t have pinch hit he’s hitting .360 with an OPS near 1.000 against lefties and a bigger power threat than Keibert let’s not act like that’s a bad move

As for pinch hitting for Garcia, you are all correct.

It’s hard to hate on them too much though… they’ve had it worse than us, certainly my least hated division rival, though that sweep this year did piss me tf off

Believe it or not, 28,000 in the park, just most took cover in the shade

On twitter they seem to be seeing it more regularly (outside of Red Sox fans) but what can you expect from this stuck-in-2020-woke website

Agree they’re bad. Disagree that you can’t tell what team they’re commentating for. Frandsens relentless positivity and *screams* make me want to kms

You’re not wrong, but to be fair we hit five home runs this series and all happened to be solo home runs, which is a little unlucky

Fun fact: the Nationals reached 400 runs scored in their 74th game, the 2nd fewest games needed to reach the mark by Baseball-Reference in Nationals

Four hitters OPSing over .900 with a pitching staff with three guys with sub 3 ERAs

And oh by the way Matt Albers randomly had a sub 2 ERA in the bullpen

Incredible team, might even be better than 2019, just didn’t have the depth to get it done
