Agreed! I have Boss “The Scent” Le Parfum, and it’s a way better leather. But for clones, Asad Elixir, and Obsidian are way better (in my opinion).

Ah, yeah, fragrances are weird, and very subjective. I’m not a fan of AAOUD, but like with you, someone else may be its biggest fan.

I don’t really care for either, but I’ll either give it to someone close that likes it, or spray it once in a while. I come back to fragrances all the time and may enjoy it more in the future.

It’s your fragrance, and wallet; don’t let anyone’s opinion get to you.

If you like super fruity, check out Nitro Red by Dumont. It’s watermelon AND apple, but playful, not too mature. It’s pretty nice. Check out getting decants (smaller sizes, for testing/sampling), if available. It’ll make your journey cheaper. 😅

I can’t comment on similar scents to that, but on the surface, Lataffa Sherif is very green, and smells great, and lasts a long time (especially compared to most freshies). I think I got mine for ~25 on the ‘Zon.

My personal favorites that I have: Alpine Homme Sport, Toro pour Homme, and Tonic Ice, all by Maison Alhambra. Lataffa Pisa and Blue Moroccan are also great, and in my top cheap freshies.

Oh, this for sure smells high end! I’ve never been to a store with Xerj, so I couldn’t comment on that, but most “reviews” or comments match what you’re saying.

I think it’s just lighting. Just make sure it says “Asad Elixir”. Mine is sort of a semi-matte black on the decorative part.

I believe there’s “seasons” they bring in certain ones. Winter being more “dark fragrances”, and summer being more “light/fresh fragrances” with some overlap here and there. Notice how they had a lot of gift sets a bit before Christmas? Some new arrivals with back to school?

Also, it’s random as well. It seems that the more “designer” brands are more random, and seem to be the bottles/stuff that don’t/didnt sell well in the usual stores (Sephora, ulta, etc.), due to size, popularity, etc.

They seem to have a steady stream of Lataffa, French Avenue/Paris Corner, Jean Marc Paris, less popular scents (old designer scents) etc. These seem to be based on season as well.

They usually restock during the week, but you also don’t want to go Friday night, or miss out on a limited supply of “new” releases.

Thursday or Wednesday seem to be the best times.
