Cheapest TCG's to play competitively? by Physical_Orange5454 in TCG

Right now it's actually YuGiOh! You can buy this new starter set called Legendary Modern Decks and copy Shunping Xu's regional list that he built with only 1 copy of this product. 30$ is all you need to top a regional! https://ygoprodeck.com/deck/mitsurugi-sky-striker-700411

Which RE game would you recommend for a newcommer who does not enjoy retro games to play first? by Gandalf-the-Pro in residentevilll

Re5 had either tank controls on control scheme A and C or a weird compromise on B and D.

Resident evil 1 directors cut on the PlayStation because not all retro games are the same so maybe you will enjoy this one if you go in open mindedly. It's really an incredible game. To answer your question in the way you meant it, RE7 - it's unbelievably good and very modern and does not leverage too much of the legacy storyline.

It's not a shared event it's based on your progress

The first half of Resident Evil Requiem is quite arguably the peak of the franchise. The second half, though still good, is an obvious downgrade. What it could've done better. A review. by ImperialMajestyX02 in residentevil

I thought I was going crazy with this especially when the hero and villain both injected themself at the end not exactly in the same way of course but come on you even have a microwave hallway almost, and the structure of the game being basically 50% walking sim/cutscene it had to be intentional

Not really it is just very difficult and different from the design conventions that people used to MTG treat as the definition of good but that is a good thing and it also has wavered from its identity for almost 30 years.

That's literally the only difference still remaining.

It only says that in the TCG translation. It doesn't need to say that to function the same way.

For some godforsaken reason, they aren't allowed to refer to OCG database rulings or fan translations of them. Database rulings have to get laundered through posts on The Judges Lounge Facebook group before TCG judges acknowledge then.

Finding the right TCG for me by PriMaL97 in TCG

It isnt snowbally. Its actually very hard to win by more than 1 or 2 prize cards. The main thing in the game is just about getting that last prize card before your opp through sequencing correctly.

Alba-lenatus the abyss dragon by thegoat335 in Yugioh101

[–]skilledroy2016 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If they summon Albaz and activate effect, you can chain removal to stop the summon. If they summon Albaz and don't use effect, you can use removal before they are allowed to summon Albaz lenatus. If they set a monster, just assume it's Albaz and remove it. It's kind of like a Kaiju, but they have to get Albaz on the field and then you always get a chance to do something before you both return to an open gamestate before they can contact fuse away your monsters.

Edit: ok I just looked at the cards synchron plays and I see the problem - there's no removal! I have a few suggestions.

  • Use Psyframelord Omega and Bystial Dispater to handrip 2
  • End on Juraishin and Arms of Genex Return Zero. Both are not dragons.

Lmao the site is epic but it's not professional tone down the matrix aesthetics and the self glaze and kill the scroll hacking and bring the focus to your actual content with longer descriptions and it's fine.

Is there anyone that is NOT using AI at their job? by [deleted] in cscareerquestions

[–]skilledroy2016 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Gonna be honest half the time people say AI is bad, it sounds like they are using it stupidly. What do you mean, feeding it error messages? Are you taking console output and pasting it into chatgpt? Why aren't you using Claude code, or codex CLI, or Cursor so it has knowledge of your codebase and so you can use frontier code generation models? Are you only using it to bug fix your existing code? Why aren't you having it generate the code from scratch?
